Amazon mentioned that I should use “flavor”, “value for money”, and “thickness” in my review. Moonpiea are ok out of the package, but they’re way more flavorful, thick, and better value if you microwave them for 10-15 seconds before eating. Take them out of the package before you do that tho. Seriously though, a delicious treat. Do it.

I actually purchased these in the summer of 2019, for the 50th Anniversary of the moon landing. My coworkers either absolutely loved them, or hated them. Be sure to have coffee or water handy when you eat these.

I like moon pies, so I ordered this thinking it would be a good idea. The plan was to enjoy a few, share some with friends, maybe find people who have never had a moon pie before and share with them too to enhance their lives. I didn't read this as thoroughly as I probably should have, and it was only when I received the shipment that I realized I didn't order a box of 12, but actually eight boxes.I know what you're thinking. You're thinking the price would have been a giveaway. Unfortunately, I was so excited to have a moon pie, I just added it to the cart, and when I was confirming the order, I had ordered a few things at once, and didn't think much of it when I saw the total order price. I never claimed to be a smart man.So I got 96 of these delicious snack cakes delivered, which led to another problem. I now saw it as a personal challenge to consume them all myself instead of sharing. I didn't want to just go through them like I'm in some eating competition, because then I wouldn't really get to enjoy them, but I'm still eating them more often than I probably should. I'm now on my last box and I feel like I'm nearing the end of a short but satisfying journey. I don't know what will happen once they're all gone. I tremble slightly at the thought.

Oh I could not have been happier this year. Passing out these individually wrapped gems evoked incredible memories and smiles. We were individually amazed that the 1st bite sucked so much salvia out of or mouth as we realized with age we had a discerning taste. Perfect for trick or treat...lol

I was concerned about getting these from the bad reviews about freshness, but all 96 of the ones I got (8 boxes x 12 ea.) were very soft and fresh. Admittedly, my wife and I only at a total of 3 from the box of 96 and the rest we gave out to the neighborhood kids on Halloween 2018, but based on how fresh and soft the ones we ate were, and how soft the other 93 felt, I wouldn't have any qualms about ordering these again. The packing list showed a ship date from the Chattanooga factory of 10/22/18. So possibly, the Moon Pie company has read these complaints and now drop ships these directly to Amazon when the customer orders them. Regardless, we had 93 very happy kids on Halloween night!

I mean it! These are so good it’s dangerous to have so many at hand. They are also dangerously addictive. I couldn’t stop myself from eating two or three at a time. I had to give away several boxes just to keep myself from eating them all. I’m not usually such a glutton, really. The moon pies made me do it.

Received my order it says 8 to a box but when they come in there is 6 to a box?

I am now known as "The Moon Pie House" at Halloween. Both the kids and their parents get wide-eyed when they see my bowl full of Moon Pies. I only bought 96 this year and they were gone in a flash, gotta buy more next year! Arrived well packaged, no damaged pies.
