Smooth shifting
Second time I got this for my 2013 acura TL. Works great. No issues. It shifts nicely.

must have been engineered by NASA... fantastic results!
I just changed the MTF on my 2013 Accord EX with 44,000 miles. I was having intermittent notchiness into 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears, plus sometimes at a stop light she didn't want to go back into first from a dead stop. None of these problems were bad, but annoying nonetheless. After reading the reviews here and watching an EricTheCarGuy video on youtube, I decided to try this GM fluid in the Accord.Fantastic results. The notchiness in 2, 3, and 4 is almost completely gone. Maybe 1 out of 10 shifts has a tiny bit now... that was 6 or 7 out of 10 when the trans has the factory fluid. And now getting into 1st from a dead stop is effortless... it feels as if the transmission wants to suck the shifter into 1st. Smoothly. Very, very smoothly.I'm gonna buy more for the next fluid change! Highly recommended!

Solved my transmission issue
I have a 2006 Honda Accord V6 MT, bought it with 3rd gear grind/pop out. Soon I had issues with pop out in 4th too. I read online that this fluid fixes the issue, so I took a chance. This car has never shifted so good! Smooth shifts in all forward gears now. Its like a new transmission! Not sure why/how this works so good, but I highly recommend this fluid if you have similar issues!

Not a lick of packaging
Oil jug just tossed in a box, rattling around. It leaked a little, jug was squashed on bottom. Is some paper cushioning too much to ask?

Literally so good it will fix slight mehcanical problems.
My gosh... this stuff is from a different planet. I feel like if I had a broken trans I could pour this stuff in and it would magically fix it... but in all seriousness it aided BIG time in fixing the typical 2nd gear syncro issue in my 99 honda civic. A forum I visited once refereed to shifting the transmission like "moving a wooden rod through a barrel of coconuts", and before I replaced my trans fluid with GM syncromesh friction modified I thought the same thing. now instead of a rod in a barrel of coconuts I now have a hot knife through butter.BEFORE adding this fluid my 2nd gear would almost always grind into gear because of a typical 2nd gear syncro issue and all other gears felt a bit rough going into gear. Reverse and 5th were difficult to force my way into.AFTER adding this fluid my 1st and 3rd gears are 100% flawless and literally feel like a hot knife through butter. my 4th gear feels almost just as good. My 5th and reverse are MUCH easier to access and I know longer have a special gear I use to call "almost reverse" lol. lastly my 2nd gear syncro issue went from literally grinding into gear every-time to now just feeling a little rough going into gear... grinds are rare.OVERALL I feel this GM fluid is very expensive and I was VERY hesitant in paying almost $20 per quart... but every forum I went to said this stuff works wonders so I went with it. Now I have joined the crowd. This fluid is so amazing it will fix slight mechanical issues in your trans such as my syncro issue and I've heard of it fixing other peoples "pop out" issues and syncro issues as well. This stuff is expensive for a reason. there is nothing else I will buy for now on. I am 100% sold on the product.

Never Just "Assume" The Mechanics Are Always Right. Do your homework!
While having my car in for other repairs, I ask the mechanic to change the oil in my 5 speed standard transmission (95 Chevy Cavalier) just as a general maintenance procedure, and he did that and told me he put in 3 quarts of regular automatic transmission fluid, (which I discovered was one quart too many according to the manual) Although I did not experience and problems after doing that, I decided to do some investigation on this, and I discovered that the transmission was supposed to have this AC Delco Synchromesh Friction Fluid in it. So I purchased it, and then took the car back to have the mechanic drain the transmission again, and put this GM product in it. (two quarts, which filled it to the proper level.) I actually purchased three quarts, but only needed two. It then became obvious that the mechanic either over filled it the first time, or lied about how much he put in it? (take your pick?)In any event, I talked with three different mechanics working there, and I told them that this was the recommended type of fluid for these transmissions, and I also advised them that this stuff was very expensive at approximately $20.00 a quart. All three of them agreed that it was a big waste of my money. Nonetheless, I was more concerned about having the correct product in my transmission, regardless of the cost, and regardless of the age of the vehicle.Anyway, after draining and refilling the transmission with the AC Delco fluid, I must confess that I did not experience any change in the way the car shifted vs. the regular automatic transmission fluid, nor did I experience any significant improvements, Nonetheless, I feel much more confident now having the right product in this vehicle, albeit it's very expensive in comparison. Perhaps having regular automatic transmission fluid in the transmission would have caused damage to the transmission down the road? Nonetheless. a $40.00 investment to help insure I won't have is a lot better than $900.00 later if/when I did! Although I can't really comment whether or not this product is great or not as the others have, as I wasn't experiencing any shifting problems, but I feel confident there's very good reasons this product costs as much as it does. If nothing else, the peace of mind in having the right product in my vehicle is definitely worth the cost of not having to worry about it.

Shifts like butter
Installed this In a 2004 CTS-V T56 manual transmission. The car wasn't fun to drive with the recommended fluid. Shifting was not pleasant. The car is fun to drive now very easily shifting between gears. HUGE difference. Thanks GM for this great product.

Drove a little over a month with this and so far so amazing. If you own a Honda with a manual ...
I can't possibly praise this product enough. As many Honda owners, I was having the third gear popping issue, not to mention the grinding of gears in general. At 94k km on my 2007 accord v6 6mt, I've switched FROM Honda approved transmission fluid to this and THE GEAR POP IS GONE. The gear changes now have that confident, mechanical action that most associate with a well oiled rifle bolt.Drove a little over a month with this and so far so amazing. If you own a Honda with a manual transmission, BUY THIS.
