Trusted brand, as good as ever!
I’ve always trusted Kingston since around the mid 90s and I’ve never been let down yet. What else can I say they are just superior quality with no failures.

Perfect for a Dell 3650
Computer seemed to be on its last legs - very slow - was about to buy a replacement. Then noticed it had only 4GB RAM. So added this 8GB. Worked like a dream! Worked like new. (Thought computer would have 2+2 GB installed but it turned out to be 4+0, so adding the 8 gave 4+8 = 12; better than the 2+8=10 I was expecting)

Works in Synology DS920+
Bought this to upgrade the RAM on my Synology DS920+. As standard the unit has 4gb of RAM and although the spec sheet states it's upgradeable to 8gb, this module of RAM takes it up to 20gb. Not been installed for long, but it's been recognised and used by my NAS and seems to speed things up a by a good amount, especially accessing SynologyPhotos. It did give me a single warning that it was unauthorised memory but it still works a treat.

Upgraded Synology DS1821+ from 4GB to 64GB (2 x 32GB) !
Have been wanting to upgrade my Synology DS1821+ from the default installed Synology 4GB SODIMM. This is so I can run more Docker containers and Virtual Machines. The supposed limit is 32GB total, ie 2 x 16GB. The Synology branded SIMM chips would cost £340 x 2 = £680! So, have been looking for alternatives. To dip my toe in the water and experiment with one, I've bought this Kingston Branded Memory 32GB DDR4 2666MT/s SODIMM KCP426SD8/32 for a £100, installed it, and.... it booted and worked. It displays a small warning, see attached photo... but no other action to take. Will now order a second and place that in the second SODIMM slot in the hopes I will get 64GB (2 x 32GB).Update: Bought a second and mounted it in the 2nd SODIMM slot and Synology box now reports 64GB, and the ("not synology") warning. But all is working. There is a disappointing aspect to this second purchase from Amazon in that both seals on the SODIMM packaging were broken, and, the SODIMM was placed in the packaging incorrectly. So, obviously a returned purchase. I'll run with it for now though. Not good Amazon..

works on DS920+
lots of research and stress looking for an alternative to the expensive Synology memory equivalent. Can confirm this works on DS920+, simple install, recognised as non synology memory but works well

Not Compatible with Dell Inspiron
I bought this to upgrade a Dell Inspiron 15 laptop RAM from 4GB to 8GB. Unfortunately, when I tried starting the laptop, Windows 10 blue-screened almost immediately. It also failed to complete the memory diagnostic. Fortunately, I was able to return it to Amazon for a refund.
