Connectivity:As a college student, I was looking for a printer that could print all the diagrams for my notes. The Bluetooth compatibility made it a breeze to print from a picture, a screenshot, or a webpage. It's even available on my tablet. Once the printer is on, the connection is nearly instantaneous and stays connected until it times out (which can be changed in settings).Quality:This particular printer does NOT print in color, but it does have multiple color paper options. Even with that being said, it has pretty good print quality, even with great detail (see pictures). It is also rather durable. It travels all around my college campus in my backpack and it still works great.Print size:The printer does have a limit in the width of the print; however, you could print something as long as the paper roll if you wished to do so. The app allows you to resize most pictures and diagrams and has lots of fun templates and graphics, many of which are free to use.Printer charges with a regular USB-C cable, not a fast-charging cable and support for the printer can be easily reached with lots of solutions for problems the printer may have. Overall, great product!

Excellent thermal printer. Once the app is downloaded, it is easy to connect to your smart phone and to begin printing. A couple of things to note: 1) When you first run the app it will try hard to get you to subscribe to an image and storage plan, which is probably not bad, but just keep going till you work your way around it. At first I thought I could not print till I subscribed but that is not so. Now the offer to subscribe DOES NOT pop up when I run the app and printing is a breeze. 2) I have my own thermal paper but when I tried to put the two little white plastic things on the ends it made the roll to tight to turn in the tray. I took off the white end pieces for the paper roll, and it worked perfectly - just dropping the roll into the tray and closing the top. With those two discoveries, it is now a 5-star thermal printer. By the way, it works perfectly with those white end pieces on the rolls they provide but do not feel you have to get re-fills from them only. Power button on side, Top button for opening the paper access. I have other little printers that the top button is power so realize this is not the case here. The sample image you see is on green paper they provided, but on white a photo like this is rather amazing. It has about 10 filters to choose from, showing you exactly what the print will look like. This is a feature that leaves most other little Thermal Printers in the dust. This is portable, rechargeable and fabulous print quality, using the filters. It is great at this price.

As much as I love this little printer, I have to admit that the constant money grabbing pop-ups and inability to use very cute templates unless money is paid has taken a good deal of the joy out of it. 😔Other than this major turn off, the printer works well, the free templates are cute, the scanning is good, the adhesion is strong, and the various printing options are helpful. Photo printing could use improvement as they come out pixelated-looking no matter the settings.

Depending on which other Phomemo printers you may have previously used, you understandably might have low expectations for the T02's print resolution - I did, and boy was I surprised! I printed several of my own photos plus the Software's stock images and was impressed by how crisp and clear they came out on the supplied rolls of sticker paper. Great value for the price, better tech than my other Phomemo label printers.Some comments on the negative reviews for the T02:- Print Quality: be mindful of your text and image choices for sticker printing, as 'garbage in = garage out'. Tiny scripty text and low res photos are not going to print well regardless of the unit. Take the time to design a good product for printing.-Paper Quality: paper rolls that ship with this printer are NOT the thickness of a receipt. The sticker paper is sturdy, has good adhesion, and trims well.-App: uses a different Phomemo app than label printers, it is FREE to use, and only some of the AI features and specialty images will require a purchase or subscription. This is not uncommon in apps like this, and in no way prevents you from using the printer. (C'mon, you've probably got all the AI photo capabilities on your phone already - use them. And there are tons of free graphics online - use them!)- Support Issues: baffled by the amount of trouble some folks are having... Newbies? Anyway, same protocol as similar tools: use the correct app, confirm you have latest version, restart your phone, uninstall the app, then reinstall it. If unit still doesn't work, return to Amazon for refund or replacement. If you have past your return window, call Amazon - they can be super helpful in getting you a refund or replacement.
