Is this product made in the USA with all USA sourced materials?

Not as far as I can tell. Blade states made in Japan. Item is EXCELLENT, well made even if not made in USA.

I've been wanting to buy one of these for a long time but I've never been able to figure out if the size given is from front to bend or to tang?

I have never paid attention to that before... After I saw your question, I pulled mine out of my drawer. I measured from the bend to the tip for mine (#1387 which I believe is the 7... ) and it was six inches and change. With the bend part also measured it went past 7 inches. Therefore, I believe it is is from tip to tang. Hope this helps.
