It worked great for me
It worked great, and was way cheaper than the similar product from Yakima. In fact, I doubt the Yakima version would have worked for my modern-style trail bike, which is too long to fit between the fork mount, and the rear tire ratched. But because the Filzer Fork Adapter is taller, I was able to tilt it forward, which created extra length, allowing the rear tire to *just* line up with the ratchet. One other pro tip in I found it much more confidence inspiring to mount it with the U shape facing up, rather than down, so that it is resting on the metal rather than having the skewer do all the work.Last thing I'll mention is for me it was much easier to install this on the bike first, then lug the bike onto the roof. The directions make this sound like an either/or choice, but in practice mounting the adaptor to the rack first make for a very challenging process of trying to line up the thru-axel on an unsupported bike.

Straightforward and dependable.
I bought one of these for my non-boost bike, and so when I switched to boost it was a no-brainer.This is the cheapest, most straightforward attachment I can find. I'm had an trail bike on the top of my car for literally thousands of miles of windy mountain roads and bumpy dirt roads, and it's been fantastic. After three years, there is a tiny bit of corrosion where the rack bites (makes contact), but I wouldn't even call it rust. There are other solutions that support both a boost and non-boost axle, but you can actually two of these to support both standards for cheaper than one of those. The only downside I've found is that the adapter itself is tall, so it moves the bike further back on the rack. I have a big bike (full sus, mid travel 29er with big tires). That is the only complaint I've had in years of use.

Worked great for a trip in the Canyonlands Maze
This worked great on our trip to the Canyonlands Maze area in October. We tried biking as much as we could, but for the flat and fast parts of the road where the drivers didn't want to wait for the bikers, we put the bikes on the car roof rack and used this adapter. The sturdiness of this mount was tested when our drivers were going uncomfortably fast in some sections. I kept looking out the window after these spots to look at the bikes, but they were still there, and it survived 3 days of very bumpy, swaying, and vigorous rocking motions above the car. Depending on the day/hour, it was either carrying a Specialized Chisel or Specialized Epic mountain bike.

Wish they made racks.
This fork adapter installed super easy. It is sturdie enough to keep my 29er secured. I drive twisty curvey mountain roads at high speed worry free. My bike is always safe and secure when I arrive. Drive thrus and low hanging branches have been my only worry.

Worthy Cost Saving Alternative
I own two of these now; originally bought a 15x100mm in May of 2017 and now needed a 15x110mm.This item works well, is sturdy, and more importantly is a great cost saving alternative to other fork adapters which are way overpriced!I use this adapter on two different Yakima roof rack systems (old and new) and although it's not as low profile as other fork adapters, it works well, easily stays upright, and is a third of the price of other fork adapters.

Great Bracket
Super strong and secure. Works great as an adapter for my stumpjumper to my roof rack. Nice thick paint finish and great value for the Price. Bike shop wanted $30 for a chincier product than this.

awkward
May work for someone else; I found it awkward to use. Thru-axle adapter rotated in the quick-release mount until thru-axle clamp was tightened. Didn't trust it to remain in the verticle position even when tightened.

Works perfectly
I needed this adapter for my Thule fork mount carrier after I got a new bike with a boost-spaced thru-axle fork. It works perfectly and is way more affordable than the ridiculously priced Thule adapter. This is a no-brainer if you want to continue to use your fork mount carriers with your new thru-axle mountain bike.
