The Longacre Digital Caster/Camber Gauge is an excellent tool for anyone that enjoys setting up their own suspension and/or doing your own alignments. It's very accurate and easy to use; i can align my car more accurately than the guys with the expensive laser tables in my own garage. To set Caster accurately you may also need some turntables (although there are methods of putting the tires on a peice of cardboard so you can rotate the wheels, turntables are considerably more accurate and easier to use). If you are modifying your suspension on a regular basis, or trying new suspension settings for road and/or the track, this tool will pay for itself pretty quickly.

This is pretty easy to use and looks to be very accurate but I do have a few observations. It would be nice if a second decimal point were presented on the display. It's hard to set a 1/4 degree of camber when you can only see .2 or .3 on the display. The negative/positive on the display is represented by tiny arrows on the far left of the display. It would be nice if there were a full size negative sign in front of the displayed number. The posts that rest against the wheel rims have a bullet nose. On my spun aluminum wheels those bullet noses don't work all that well. I ended up modifying the posts on my lathe to give them a square end with a rounded edge. This will work much better. I honestly don't see the advantage of the bullet nose in most applications. In spite of my observations I like this a lot more than my previous bubble level camber gauge. I'm certain that I'm getting much more accurate and repeatable measurements than I have gotten with my previous equipment.
