Q: Could anyone confirm the height of the step-in? My 17 year old cat is having trouble with the current box step-in height of 7.5 inches. Thanks!

It’s 5” from the bottom of step in opening to the floor. It’s not huge but good size, I have a smaller built adult cat and it is perfect for her. Highly recommend.

Q: is the jumbo big enought for 2 cats?

I have 2 cats and purchased 2. You would have to clean it out a lot more with just 1. The door that opens and closes breaks very easily too fyi

You don't need the door. I detached mine because the cats (2) did not like it. Just sift and empty the box on a schedule that the cats like🐱
