Best bluetooth adapter in the market.
Today i have got the chance to use it as it was delivered to me in the morning. And one word which comes in my mind after using it is fabulous. I am using windows 10 and the product works like a charm. I was in doubt earlier that whether it would support windows 10 completely or not but now i realise that i haven't done anything wrong in purchasing it. Believe me guys it detects immediately my soundpeats QY7 bluetooth earphone which i also purchased from amazon and i have connected few phones also and it is working fully with each and every bluetooth enabled device. The sound is transmitting fluently from my computer to the earphone and the clarity is as perfect as if i am using a wired headphone. So those who are willing to purchase a bluetooth adapter i would say that it is the best in the market. Go blindly and purchase it. You won't regret. The packaging was also good. Prompt delivery by the seller. Thanks.

Excellent Bluetooth Adapter
Make - The look of the product and the feel of the plastic on top is good... not cheap, compared to other Bluetooth dongles. Range - Its standard as they have mentioned in its features.(My Experience 6 meters for portable sound bar in straight line after that sound is crackly...for mobiles n headphones its good to go upto 10mtrs.) Price - Its worth the price this sites offer.(Rs.649 on amazon) Compatibility - If you are looking for dongle that runs good on windows 10 then this device does it. I had one dongle earlier running on windows 10 and connected portable sound bar to the system, after few mins. sound use to go blank all of a sudden, then I had to do few tricks to again listen to music, thought of changing the dongle and found this one, I ordered and plugged the device in USB 3.0 jack and since then all Bluetooth devices connect to the dongle in an instant, without any driver installation on windows 10 it connects just good... I would recommend It.

Not the strongest one, precautions necessary.
First off I'll go about the things that are good about it - It uses Broadcom bluetooth drivers, which is a good thing for future updates and wider compatibility, It's small form factor, however I didn't say it's tiny, Good performance, very low latency rate between devices while transmitting data. Now the bad part- It's built quality is cheap, like really cheap, as you could see from the other reviews. You won't believe the knock-off like plastic parts and the way they are being held together. It's like really poor use of glue and will come off without even any big force. So I bought this for my laptop as my inbuilt Qualcomm Bluetooth chipset stopped working with my audio devices, there was noticeable lag and sudden freezes, though file transfer was working fine without any fuss. I use a Sony SRS X3 and Jaybird Freedom for listening music and only for that purpose I needed an external adapter and I bought this. As I said I didn't have any trouble performance wise and I was happy with that. I found about the build quality in the hard way when I went travelling. The adapter was plugged into my laptop and stowed safely in my Everki Concept backpack(which can hold upto 17' laptops, mine is just 15'. So there's plenty of space for protection) and put in the overhead bin. After I reached back home after the trip I took out my laptop and found out that the top half of the plastic part is gone, just broken off from the bottom. I thought maybe this happened due to some turbulence or something. And again I went on to another trip and when I returned and opened up my backpack everything broke bit by bit. I could see all of its parts came off. It was fortunate that all of the parts were still inside the bag, so I picked them up and put them back together without damaging the chip. And I stick them together with Instant Glue that I got for 5 bucks. Voila, it works again even though the top half is still missing. I'd like to say that this was not the only dongle that was connected to the laptop the whole time, I had a Logitech receiver for the F710 Gamepad(3 Years) and another Belkin receiver for the M450 Wireless(2 Years) mouse both of them was plugged in along with the Kinivo Bluetooth adapter(5 Months). I've never taken out both of them during my trips. So, it's definitely the fail of the build quality. Verdict will be that if you're planning to buy this, once you get it do a overall cover before actually using it with some instant glue to protect it. Or at the least do it with some tape and you will be safe. Or good luck taking it of during traveling and searching for it later on.

Having experienced a couple of Class 2 devices which lost connection with just my hand or a coffee table in the way, it was great to find this device can easily go effortlessly through an internal brick wall. I don't think this is clear enough in the device description, but the Broadcom chip set is Class 2. I also found that I can connect to all my BT devices, phone, Palm PDA and Bluetooth audio adapter. Not the case with my previous dongles. The software was slightly problematic. I had forgotten that with the Widcom/Broadcom stack you must not plug in the dongle to start with or even when asked, which results in the dongle not being detectable by the software. Despite this Windows XP was perfectly happy, recognising the device in Device Manager and reporting no problems. So I had to remove the sofware and re-install, plugging the dongle in when it had all finished. Windows then completed the process and all was well. Its about time Broadcom updated the manual to reflect this problem, which has been around for years. Incidently I had downloaded the latest update from the Broadcom website, but found it impossible to use this at the outset, because it expected the dongle to be installed already. So I used the version 5.6.0.7700 on the supplied CD. I am still on this which surprisingly is a bit clunky, so should perhaps upgrade. However not knowing what the latest version is like puts me off. However this issue shouldn't put anyone off the device which always has a good solid connection to many devices.

After trying out two other BT adapters (and wasting time researching for and trying out work-arounds), I was fortunate to have stumbled upon this one since previous searches in Amazon did not show this. The other adapters had driver problems--L2CAP interface, handsfree audio and remote control failed to install--even with the adapter being advertised as having a2dp support and indicated for headsets. Unlike the previous ones I've tried, this is branded, came with an installation guide and installer discs for XP, Vista and Windows 7 (plug and play for Mac), and was boxed and sealed with plastic. This is not plug and play for windows OS (I have win 7 64 bit)and you have to remove all BT programs that were previously installed. Installation using the disc took quite some time. But after the time wasted on the two other adapters, I didn't really mind waiting for the installer to do its work. And don't mind the pop out window from microsoft that will also be searching for the drive. I didn't cancel it when it was chugging along with the disc installation. However, whilst the disc installer managed to install the drivers I needed to connect my BT headphone to the laptop, the Microsoft automatic driver search failed to install some drivers. Do not be bothered by this; just close it (I think you may even cancel this while it is still searching; I'm not just sure). My headphone paired and connected anyway. It is very small--as wide as my logitech unifying receiver and only a tad longer (about 1 mm); so I leave it attached to the laptop even when traveling. It streamed audio just fine and audio quality is quite good. However, I find it laggy sometimes when watching videos, the audio lags about 1 sec or less from the video. However, pause and play most often resolved this issue. And the tech support at Kinivo is good. Since the product did not have any review, I emailed them about the supported profiles and they replied promptly. I did not have to take them up on their offer of further assistance because the adapter worked just fine out of the box and the installation guide is very easy to follow.

I bought this product as an additional Bluetooth option for my Lenovo Laptop. It helped support my wireless mouse and keyboard. I initially bought it because the Bluetooth built into the laptop didn't support everything I wanted it to. This product did not support my iMac (late 2008) edition.
