It works beautifully! And very lite-weight. I have a small patch of grass in my front yard, and I bought this electric weed eater because it comes with wheels, allowing you to use it like a mower. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. It worked well using the edger.I have a vine on the side of the house and I used the edger blade in it did a pretty good job. I'm not sure how long the battery lasts, because it hasn't gone dead on me, yet. I used it several times and charged up the battery between uses. This is a great value for the price and how ell it works. You should get one of these and buy another as a gift for someone you care about. Just a thought.

I love this weed eater! It is light weight and has really great kick! This little unit does a great job for edging and I like the blades as you can really chop away at some weeds and other tough items. Inever expected it to work so well, I thought it would let me cut some grass but I have cut wild grapevines, trimmed my shrubs and cut back some weeds as big around as my thumb! It even shreaded a dead tree limb! I’m amazed! Recommend this item.
