Q: How tall is this armoire, 42" or 37.75"?

I just measured for you- mine is a full 42" tall. This is a substantial piece of furniture- well made, spacious & heavy for its size. It is beautiful. I've had mine for a few years and still love it.

Q: It says there are 7 drawers but I count 8?

The one in the pic is slightly different from the one I have. Mine has 7 drawers with a large, deep space at the top- the lid lifts up. This pic looks like another drawer was added making the space at the top is not as deep. I will say that no matter how many actual drawers- this is a beautiful piece of furniture that is well put together. I love mine and there is plenty of storage.
