I am using it with smart lav+ its a good buy if you are into interviewing. The long extension gives you upto 7 feet of distance easily.

I have a cat who loves chewing anything that dangles or looks like a string or a rope. My cat has chewed two Macbook chargers, three or four pairs of expensive headphones and a couple other wires around the house. After throwing away and buying anew a couple of times, I started taping and using them because there was no point and my cat is my evil overlord.I bought this because of my cat. He's chewed it alright but absolutely no damage. This is strong, durable and the quality of sound in the end is great, especially if used with their own mics. It's got stuck under heavy or rough metal furniture and survived. No other wire will do that. I have used it at crowded conferences, and because I was new to it, I let people trip over them a couple of times. That did nothing to them.

I have ordered this product over two times now. The first time the wire was defected and not working, so I opted for an exchange. And the second time, I got a WHOLE ANOTHER PRODUCT instead of this. I have finally opt for a return. So much of my time has been wasted. I was needing this for my microphone that I got just before this purchase from Amazon only. Please inquire about this Amazon.

Product is good but received tha package like in photo, looks like it has been opened already as the top part was folded & sticker was off.Inside the extension is working. I am writting this review on the 2nd day of usage. Hoping this works the same.

As the Rode Smart Lavalier mics came with a very short cable so I had to order this extension for my recordings of interviews which are available on Cine Ink sites, including cineink.com and cineink pages on facebook and youtube. Very useful.

You should all accesorries in one kit instead of one.
