Apple iPod touch 64GB WiFi MP3 Player 6th Generation - Space Gray (Renewed)

As a dance instructor I have worked with iPods for 20 years. Unfortunately the batteries don't last for too long. In need of my third one I learned that Apple has stopped production years ago. However, they offer a 6th generation for around 750 bucks. That's a little too hefty for my taste. Amazon came to the rescue by selling refurbished ones for a fraction of that price. It's my little professional "lifesaver". Love it

Whats not to like about the Ipod Touch, except maybe a newer Ipod Touch. This is an upgrade for me coming from an Ipod Touch 3rd Gen to a 6th gen. So whats different, well not much in the way of standard included apps. However, its a whole lot faster, from start up to app launch, its super fast. It takes that wonderful, I cant see if I'm plugging it in the right way in the dark, lightning cable, seems a bit thinner in its over all construction, and of course that wonderful Retina screen. As usual Apple makes a great device, solid in its construction, ridged in its IOS version, and there in may lie its only flaw. I have never cared for Apple's locked down OS, So much so I wait with great patience for a jail break to be released so I can make my apple, MY APPLE. You know what I mean. Lets face it thats Androids claim to fame, its open OS, IMO Apple needs to kick back, drink about a thousand beers and loosen the straps on its IOS. I have an iPad that's still sitting on IOS 8.3, only because I missed the 9.1 JB. There will be a JB for the 9.3 IOS soon and that means my Ipod and my Ipad will soon enjoy some great new software. In the meantime you simply cant go wrong with an Apple Ipod, for music, nothing beats the I tunes/I pod combo. As I own both devices as many people do, meaning an android for my smartphone and tablet and an Ipod touch and Ipad tablet, I enjoy the best of both worlds, but nothing even come close to I tunes, not even Double Twist. The 6th Gen Ipod is a great tool, with 64 gigs of storage and its compact size it goes anywhere I go and I will say it again the Retina screen is fantastic. Now Apple have a brew and loosen up your IOS ;-)

Très bien pour mes besoin. Il remplace mon vieux iPod nano de 16 ans. Fonctionne bien dans mon auto avec la prise USB, la radio le détecte très bien et je suis capable d’y mettre mes 4500 chansons Il répond donc parfaitement

I am a huge fan of music and i decided to buy a second a larger ipod to complement my smaller iPod touch. Well after buying this item at first it worked fairly well but after six months or so it started to get hot at times and the power bar restaurant from it will go down kinda rapid after a hour or so. Then after awhile it just would no longer keep a charge at all and i ended up throwing it away because I had no insurance plan for it. I believe this was a refurbished item, well anyway i didn't let this discourage me from buying another iPod , but this time I took the insurance plan for this. I felt like i didn't get my money's worth of this product and i honestly wouldn't buy this product again , definitely not without any insurance.

My old I-pod touch finally crapped out. I tried very hard to find a cheap replacement. No luck. I did finally locate this "renewed" replacement. It is actually a very nice product. It has built-in features that my old I-pod did not have. Primarily it will connect directly to my wi-fi so I can download podcasts directly. Prior I had to download to I-tunes and then transfer to the I-pod. Some controls are different but I can adjust. Overall I would prefer a less expensive option. As it is this product is and excellent replacement. Ken Beamish
