I love it

I don't smoke, but I do like to have lighters handy when camping to be able to start a campfire, so this was a fun item. The lighter showed up in a beautiful leather gift box, very nicely packaged along with some extra flint sticks. The lighter itself looks as good as it does in the photos...it would definitely make a great gift.Now look...maybe I'm just uninformed (very likely), but I grew up with the old Bic lighters. I had no idea how to adjust the flame, or how to replace the flint. I did some digging and figured it out, so this is for any other uninformed souls like me.First of all, the lighter comes with no fuel, so you'll need a can of butane to fill it. Simply unscrew the thumbscrew at the bottom, and fill with butane. If you want to adjust the height of the flame, the silver part around the butane fill hole can accept a small flathead screwdriver; turn it a little in either direction to raise or lower the flame.If you need to replace the flint, turn down the flame all the way down so you aren't wasting butane. Pop open the top of the lighter, and with the lid open on the left, you'll see a little square in the middle of the decorative lines. You kinda have to have fingernails for this, but push it downwards towards the bottom of the lighter, and the panel above it will slide to the left, revealing the flint, which you can dump out and replace. Then slide the panel back until it clicks, and you're done!

This is a gorgeous lighter. I got the Silver.I have used Zippo lighters many times over the years and why I decided to try this as I lost my Zippo ages ago and currently use the Bic BBQ lighters or regular ones that aren't very economical.Comes beautifully packaged which is always a bonus in case you would like to gift to someone.Comes with extra flints in a tiny case so they don't get lost. A very pretty case I might add.No butane of course comes with this due to shipping regulations but that is known when you purchase this.My whole gripe with this is needing a tool to adjust the flame and decompress the gas before filling it.I wish I would've been aware of this prior to ordering or they would include some type of little tool to adjust the flame.I ONLY have a Philips head screwdriver, no flat head ones, which I know is crazy & didn't even realize this myself until I went to look for one.So as of right now it is sitting there because I don't want to break it by using something else.Comes with NO INSTRUCTIONS whatsoever in the box which with something like this and the price for a lighter that should definitely be included.Thank goodness there was a video on the original listing, but still no directions on how to change the flint.It is very durable and I am sure once I get it filled and working it will be fine. If for any reason it does not work I will come back & edit my review.For $25.99 (at time of posting 07/18/25) I think that is a fair price given the quality of the lighter.Would recommend just be aware of what is needed ahead of time.

It's pretty simple. This lighter replaced my Zippo! I love this lighter. The gold color, the texture, and everything work together with the packaging to create a very luxurious feel. This would be a perfect Father's Day or Mother's Day present. Whoever you buy this for will be very impressed. This lighter uses butane, and because it does not have a jet blue flame, it lasts longer than other lighters made that way, which is another huge plus for me. I cannot recommend this lighter enough! I do not like the twirly bit that sparks the flame; it is intuitive, but it will require a learning curve if you are not familiar. I'm also not fully a fan of the gas triggering immediately when you open the top, but it is convenient—just make sure you are careful.

This lighter looks sharp but just be aware that it doesn't come with any fuel with it (I presume for shipping concerns). You'll need to add fuel before you can test it out. Once we figured that out, it worked like a charm. It is compact and feels substantial in your hand, and was pretty easy to use once we got fuel added. Would have been nice to have some sort of instructions to go with it hence one star off.

I got the black with gold trim. It looks great. It's small, so if you have fat fingers, it will take some getting used to. Fueling it was easy. If you've never filled a butane lighter, don't be discouraged if it doesn't lite immediately after filling it. The lighter will feel noticeably cold after filling it. Then it has to come back to room temp before it will light. Price is good and box is nice of giving as a gift.
