I understand the wings/shelves must be lowered on the Large BGE for cover to fit; however, what about if one has a “handler” installed?

Will the xl size fit the kamado joe big joe?

I have the large cover so,,I have no way of judging that. But the large fits my large green egg great.

Will the xl size fit the kamado joe big joe?

Yes. I can confirm the X-Large cover does fit the Kamado Joe Big Joe II. I have the Big Joe II (AKA the 2017 model) and this cover fits perfectly. If you have a Big Joe I (the version sold before 2017) I assume it will fit as well since the Big Joe I and II are very nearly the same size. The Big Joe II is slightly larger with the new style hinge, so I could not imagine this cover would not work, if you have the pre-2017 model. If you have a Big Joe III, then you should verify its dimensions. I have no idea if this cover will work for a III model.

Will the xlarge cover fit an xl big green egg with side tables?

Yes! I put the side tables down (even leave the cleaners hanging on the hooks underneath) and this cover slips right over the top without a problem. This is an excellent cover for the XL!

Worth your attention if you're in the market for a cover that works. Does what it needs to do.

I've had it now for about a year and works great. Very well made, keeps my Extra Large BGE dry and protected and fits perfectly. Survived all 4 seasons of New England weather so far and everything it has to throw at it. Only down side is that the green faded after just a few months of owning it, so now it's just a faded green. Not a huge deal and not worth losing a star over. Based on my 1 year of ownership, I'm sure this cover will last me many more years to come and I'm OK with that.

Works great

I actually purchased two these. One for an above ground pool sand filter and the other for a mini-fridge that we keep on the deck all year round. Work great and are thick enough to keep the water out. Very durable in high winds. Fits perfect for both of these.

BGE cover

This cover seems to be strong I have a large BGE & as you can see the cover is big probably better for XL BGE but I don't mind that's a bit bigger it covers everything very good that's all I care about later on I will build the table myself if you don't mind the cover being a bit bigger then this cover is very good for the price I would recommend it..

Big Green Egg Cover

I purchased this to cover our large Big Green Egg and we are pleased with it. It is thick and seems well made. My only complaint is we wish it had an elastic draw string to gather at the base, however this is not a huge issue. We use a small bungee cord to gather it at the bottom and we have had no issues even either wind gust as high as 50 mph. I do recommend the cover.

GREAT ITEM!

Fits my large Egg perfectly...would suggest adding small weights using the rings on the bottom of the cover to keep in place on windy days...other than that, excellent value
