Phonak 2L (Left Side) Standard X-Receiver for Audeo, Smart, Naida CRT Receiver in The Ear

if you have certain model Phonak hearing aids then this unit replaces the side it says it replaces. very easy to remove old and replace with two pin unit. just be careful not to force in place. when the pins are lined up properly it pushes in very easy. worked in less than a minute. Hearing centers and some online retailers want to charge over $100 for a new one. it's no different than this unit. hint -- to remove an old or broken piece, on some hearing aids, you have to push the very tiny holding pin / slide out of the way using a small tool or needle type device. then the old piece pulls out. otherwise, you will think it's stuck. after replacing, i just used my fingernail to push / slide holding pin back in place. there are videos online to illustrate simple process. be sure to test after replacing. this new piece can be returned.

So happy I was able to find this replacement part for my hearing aid without breaking the bank. A new set will be a lot more expensive. This new receiver with 2 prongs was able to repair my 7 year old receiver from Phonak Brio 2R. Came with additional soft domes.

Perfect replacement for the 9 year old 2 pin receiver that broke last week. Using a cheap tool kit I was able to push out the lock pin, pull out the broken plug, push in this new receiver and push the lock back in. Everything sounds perfect. This includes new domes. Maybe I can get another year or two from these old hearing aids…

Excellent replaced broken wire for hearing aid. Daughter aided in replacement. Hard for me to see. Saved me the expense of going to ENT , drop off and having to go back to pickup. Also charges more than what this cost. Ordering more for other hearing aid

Expensive for what it is, but it’s a specialty item, so go figure. However, it’s also the best price I could find for this type item. So kudos to the seller and Amazon for that. Now for the important info: This fits my AUDEO S SMART III CROS hearing aid. If you have one close to this model with the 2 prongs, then it should work for you as well. Just be sure to select the proper side, L/R. Just remember when installing, go slow, don’t force it, and the prong outlet was at the bottom of the hole on my hearing aid. Hope this review helps people. 👂

This item was defective and I ordered a replacement which was great, but I did send the defective item back on 3/31/25 using UPS but it still doesn't show item return.
