From the moment I opened this, I was impressed with the sleek design, but most of all, how tiny it was! The whole case easily fits in my pocket! You can see pictures the size compared to the Saramonic mic I've been using for the last year! I love all of the Saramonic mics I have, but this size is amazing!The audio quality is great! Both on the unit itself and the included lav mic! I love the versatility of having both, for more casual fast paced shoots or for more professional shoots where you want to make sure the mic is hidden!Lastly, on both previous Saramonic mics, and on this one, I love how they continue to use magnets, for easy securing of the mic! They're so tiny and yet so strong!I do miss the auto power on that my previous mic set had when you took them out of the case, and I do wish they had onboard recording for the transmitters, but I am more than willing to trade pushing my own power button to get the smaller size, and I've never actually needed the onboard recording.All in all, love this new product! 5 out of 5! Would recommend!

Ive been using the Saramonic audio devices for some time but always looking for something smaller and better!The new Air series fits that perfectly!Its extremely compact, housed within its own rechargeable carry case!Brings two mics, two wind screens and two lav attachments!There's no bluetooth connectivity but no need. It comes with a USB C/IPhone plug adapter where you can use the fully functional Saramonic App to control your sound.It has great quality sounding mics that has all the functionalities you seek such as clip on style and magnetic style wear.Definitely great a value for everything you get in one small package.The sound is clear. The functions on the menu screen are clear. You can use on mobile, action cams and full sized cams!Also compatible with the Sony adapter so you can record audio straight into your Sony camera!With 120db SPL handling, the sound is crisp and clear once you dial it correctly!Using the App to control the sound makes it 100x easier as well.Its extremely compact and very good as recording the audio you need.

The media could not be loaded. Let me start by saying this is a VERY good value. You may find cheaper wireless lav sets, however, this set comes with a very nice set of lavalier mics. Not just some cheap after thought, they were DESIGNED for this system.Build Quality:The build quality is good. My major complaints are related to the case. It is both the sturdiest and the weakest case I have used. Solid aluminum on the sides, hinge, and back! And super cheap thin plexiglass on the front. Disappointing.The transmitters and receivers are made of plastic, but has a quality feel. Albeit a "blocky" design.Sound Quality:The system scores high on sound quality for me. Listening on my monitor headphones, I really like the sound of both the wireless lav built in mic and the wired mic with a 75hz low cut filter. It's a sound/tone I could listen to for a while and not get weary off. No 32-bit recording, but, you can't record 32-bit into a camera or phone. So 24-bit is the highest bitrate you'll get.Wired lav:The wired lav is a very nice option. I was pleasantly surprised with the metal housing and large capsule size. The sound is very good at this price point. They could easily charge $40/piece or more for the lavs alone. The lavs ARE a proprietary connection, and this appears to be due to space constraints. A 3.5mm simply wouldn't work. That said, wired lavs are a fantastic tool for certain scenarios, and I like the Saramonic incorporated this feature.Outputs:The optionality to connect to USB-C, lightning, 3.5mm, AND have an extra headphone output is great! You'll be able to connect this to whatever gear you got.A few other disappointments:1. The receiver screen... Cheap and practically unreadable in the sun.2. The magnet size. It holds strongly, but why not make it the same size as the clip?All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this kit. It's not perfect, but it overall leaves me more impressed than disappointed by the features, functionality, and performance.

Excellent audio, easy to use, and the transmitter is so tiny. The audio is clean and clear, plus the setup is so simple - I literally plug it into my phone and I’m ready to record. The audio limiter and noise cancellation keep my audio sounding pro‑level without fuss, even in when recording on a busy street. I love having both built-in mics and lavaliers included too.It’s hands-down the best wireless mic system I’ve used for the price.

First the good:They rival my favorite mic pair the DJI's just fine, they are loud, easy to adjust and are of great quality. I got about three hours of recording out of my set. Realistic distance for wireless connectivity is really about 50 feet before my audio started cutting off. I love how it's versatile with how you have two options for use, with a DSLR camera and with a phone. Also, the case is very durable and of quality.Now the disappointing part:Due to the transmitters being very small, they do not use a traditional 2.5mm or 3.5mm jack for a lapel mic. They use a proprietary connector that you CANNOT buy an adapter for, and you CANNOT buy replacement lapel mics (I have looked). This means if anything happens to your lapel mic you are out of luck. Since I use lapel mics on the regular, purchasing the version with a proper jack connector would be ideal. Additionally, I don't like how the shell snaps closed with the fur stuck between the top and the bottom of the shell.-2 stars for the proprietary nature of the lapel mics and lack of an adapter connector or replacement mics.
