Preen 2464163 Weed Control Lawn, 30 lb-Covers 15,000 sq. ft

First off know that I never even mowed a lawn let alone deal with weeds ECT, until this year... We bought a place and was handed a horrible yard, I knew we had more weeds than grass, bought this on a whim... Thank goodness for that! It was amazing... Fixed my yard in 2 applications no more weeds! However this is not a feed for your grass it only weeds, but for my mess of a yard I knew I had to get the weeds gone to even find out if I had grass under them, it was that bad... I will continue to use this product in bad areas, but now I'm on to try using the same brand for my fertilizer to help the grass that wasn't just straight weeds! My hubbs will never even need to know I didn't know what I was doing! I felt like a pro using this stuff!

This is the first time I have used this Preen for weed control and I am extremely impressed! I had so much clover and other weird weeds growing near the edge of my lawn. I used Scott's earlier in the season, and it showed some results, but what little bit that did seem to go away from that product quickly came back, so overall I wasn't real impressed with it. So then I tried this product a few months later. After I applied it I gave it a good two weeks to show me what it's got. This stuff blew my mind! It took care of 100% of everything it said it would on the package. I closely inspected my grass in order to see if I could find anything, even if just one little spot that it might have left behind. I am very happy to report that I could not find a thing. However, because it worked so well getting rid of my clover and the other stray unwanted ugly weeds, now my crabgrass is growing out of control (lol). I have to laugh about it, because it seems that without mine knowing, all of that clover was helping to keep my crabgrass problem somewhat at bay. But I am not faulting this product at all. This product does not treat crabgrass. So now early next spring I will have to make sure that I treat my lawn with this wonderful Preen product, as well as put down a crabgrass preventer to keep it all under control and have a beautiful lawn. From my own personal experience with this product and the impressive results I got from using this, I am wondering now if some of those negative reviews people wrote about this product if it was because they may not have followed the instructions correctly, they may not have given the product enough time to work, or perhaps if they may have even experienced what I did with their already existing crabgrass and are ignorantly blaming this product for the results. This is in my opinion, got to be one of the best products out there. I know for a fact, it is THE best product I have used for weed control; better than Scott's. I have no need to try anything else. I am a very satisfied customer and I will definitely be using this product again. I am very happy and I highly recommend.

The product killed many of the weeds in my yard. I was targeting Splurge and it was effective when it adhered to the leaves. I’ll try a couple of applications to see if I can get a handle on the “survivors.”

I spread this weed killer, per broadcast spreader specifications, to knock out a few dandelions and other weeds.Two weeks later the first dandelion sprouts are taunting me…Up your Preen rate or look for alternatives.

really didn't kill weeds like i thought it would

Bought 60lbs of Preen lawn weed control, read the instructions, applied when weeds were growing and did my entire yard - absolutely nothing happened, not a single weed died, very disappointed and a complete waste of money.

This stuff is awesome!!! I applied it generously to two large flower beds. I was having huge amounts of weeds come through the black mesh and mulch that I installed. I have only had to apply this once this year with only a handful of weeds appearing.

I have pressurized irrigation water, I get a lot of seeds. I use this and it works pretty good. If I had clean water I’m confident it would kill everything
