These cards are really, REALLY neat! Truly, the more I reflect on the concept, I believe this may be an extremely effective and “hyper-efficient” way to build a cultural foundation for your child. While our kids eat breakfast, they love for me to go through the deck, rattling off the answers as soon as it occurs to their little brains.Each card builds and reinforces a new node (or reference point, is the way I like to think of it) for them to fall back to, or orient their learning. You’ll quickly come to realize how perfectly iconic each subject is, and you’ll be a bit blown away at how often they show themselves in our everyday world.In discussing each subject, you can’t help but also discuss relevant information, and they can’t help but ask more related questions (digging deeper (or wider) each time). In time, augmented by their education and everyday life, it’s very easy to imagine how many of these different nodes start connecting!As a side note, my daughters immediately cling to the female icons-they were given highest priority and were the first ones my girls committed to memory! (Pretty neat that they know about Malala Yousafzai as an example...).My proudest moment inspired from these learning decks was recently at the MLK Memorial in DC, when my 3 year old daughter was able to articulate one of his quotes completely by memory...”I have a dream that my four ‘wittle’ children...not by the color of their skin but by the conduct of their ‘chawacter...”. I teared up!I love these learning decks, and so do my kids! I couldn’t recommend them more.

It’s perfect to make kids curious about history and art. I would have lOVE it more if it includes all the seven wonders.

My elementary age kids love these! Easy and interesting way to learn about kinda random stuff they’ll learn more about later. I think even preschoolers would like them—I just didn’t know about them when my kids were little!Could also be good jumping off points for writing assignments: Choose a card that interests you and write a report about it.All in all, pretty cool addition to homeschool or supplemental learning.

The flash cards are well executed, delightful to see & touch with relevant subjects. Can't wait to order more collections when they become available. I used them with 6th and 7th graders and while they generally "know" what the cards are, they benefited from being drilled on the specifics. As a home schooler for 10 years, I highly recommend.

I ordered the Ivey League Kids Flashcards and received my cards within a few days. I have 5 kids and as soon as we got them we opened them up and my kids couldn't get enough of them! The cards are big, bright and are really great quality. My children ages 15-3 have all learned from these cards. We pulled out 1 of every category and learned them each day and now the older ones know them all! My younger kids ages 3& 4 have learned quite a few of the landmarks and people and are learning more and more everyday and loving it!! I would recommend these cards to everyone as they make learning so much fun!

These are just delightful flashcards. Good quality.

The flashcards themselves are of beautiful quality with optimal photography! They are perfect for teaching and learning! I have used National Geographic's World Landmark flashcards with my 4 year old granddaughter since she was 2 and now that she's 4 she recognizes so many wonders around the world. These flashcards have provided not only more important locations, but she'll also begin to learn about historical events, outstanding figures in music, science, art, literature, world leaders and athletes. Kudos to Ivey League Kids Flashcards!

We got these for our toddlers to keep them occupied on long car trips, in restaurants, etc. These cards have a nice diversity of significant people, places, and sights through history. I think they will prove to be a good educational tool as my boys get older.
