If you are looking for a scan tool to pull codes from your car, then this is the tool for you. While this is not one of the more advanced models available, it does a fine job at what it does do. A well built unit with a colour screen that is both informative and easy to read. I was able to check for codes on my Honda Accord (there where no codes to begin with) and it connected to the cars canbus communication system within a few seconds, displaying data from long and short range fuel trims and O2/ Lambda sensor activity. This will give you plenty of information from the engine and codes. There is even a lookup feature, that will help you diagnose some faults, though these are for generic codes that cover a range of manufacturers. Such as P0300 codes for cylinder misfires All in all this is a handy tool to keep in your glovebox should you ever have a check engine light come on, on the dash. Generally speaking if its on constant, you will be fine to proceed, but if it starts flashing ( the engine light) then your cars detected a missfire and you should stop. All in all, a complete value for money unit that is worth the money whether your a tinkerer or someone who just wants to read fault codes.

Worked perfectly for what I needed it for. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. Tested it on 3 other cars and it worked amazingly so it is compatible with a wide range of models. Amazing value for money compared to other brands.

It does everything except the Abs and Srs. Otherwise ok

It’s a convenient code reader that reads quickly

As an amateur at car problem diagnosis, I bought this Launch brand product on reputation. Sadly that was a mistake. The product comes with virtually no documentation, none is available online from Launch websites, Launch UK support tried to be helpful but this model is apparently a grey import and they don't know anything about it, and Launch customer support don't respond to emails. You're essentially on your own and have to guess how to use it. That includes the 'Lifetime Updates' and how to get them, but as far as I can tell Launch don't update this model anyway, so not much lost there. As far as functionality goes, it may be a good value product for all I know but given the above I've only been able to read/clear a few DTCs and not much else. If you're familiar with using this type of product you may be very happy with it. In summary then, maybe a good product but dismal to non-existent customer support. Amazon's support number is no use.

This is a great obd2 scanner for the price. Simple and easy function for all makes and models. I like that it is not too small and is tethered instead of Bluetooth. It scans fast and readout is very simple to read vs more expensive and complicated models. This is not meant for complicated scanning of specific systems in cars but those obd2 scanners will run around 150.00 and up. It will read out check engine light codes and great for about 80% of any issues you might come across.

This was easy to use and confirmed what the mechanic told me.
