As long as you’re headset is connected you can make the call from your phone and talk via the headset. There is no way to call directly through the headset.

Q: Do u get a decent amount of volume with these earbuds? I have had a couple sets that were useless in a noisy environment.

I use these while walking. They are fine until a car goes by and the road noise lessens the volume, but that can be easily corrected with the volume controls on the earbuds. They are not noise-canceling earbuds, but I think they are loud enough, for example, in a factory, but there are also limits. You wouldn't be happy on the tarmac with a 747. I have been happy with these.

Yes. Press the "+" and "-" button at the same time to mute the mic.
