We had originally purchased a couple of handblown Gabrielglas wine glasses after reading great reviews of them. At about $38 a piece, they are "affordable" for hand-blown wine glasses. But we just didn't love the slightly bulbous bottom-heavy profile, and we use our wine glasses too frequently (!) to want to have to worry about each one that bites the dust.We returned them in favor of these big burgundy Zwiessel glasses, which we intend to use for both red and white. They are stunning! Modern in profile, with a fine lip and a "crystal-clear" shine. What's more, like all good wine glasses, they noticeably concentrate the aroma in the bowl and are a delight to drink from. (Note, for those that must have hand-blown glass, there is a "seam" on the foot of the glass if you really want to look hard for it, though it is not apparent to the touch.)We just bought 12 more to round out our collection to 16. At about $12 per glass, they're a steal!

Omg, I was so shocked that they came intact. I always get nervous about glasses, but these were handled with care. Not to mention I love the size cannot wait for wine nights and drink out of these amazing quality glasses.

These are exquisite wine glasses- super thin glass that (somehow) makes the wine taste better! To date, I’ve purchased on 3 occasions as gifts as well. Highly recommend!

These are large, and excellent wine glasses. Not too large imo. Very nice, excellent acoustics when you cheers or wipe wet finger on rim. Durable in relation to thickness. Surprisingly so.

I purchased these glasses because I needed a complete set of wine glasses. Very delicate. Hand wash when your sober.

I've been buying Riedel glasses for years and they're gorgeous glasses. However, they don't evolve wine aromas and flavor like these do. While the glass is a hair thicker than Riedels, the shape and long stem does exactly what a larger basin glass should do. Buying more.

We wanted a glass that encourages swirling the wine and that concentrates the aroma. This glass is shaped properly for those purposes. It's also a reasonable price and seems durable. But it's a little clunky: the stem is too thick, probably because the glass is a little too large. I looked and failed to find a somewhat smaller glass with the same shape. They must be available somewhere, as we drank from such glassware last year in France. Sure wish I knew who made them. One plus: this glass seems to shed water without leaving drip marks.
