Awesome
Upgraded to this from Tool Man. Goes thru metal like butter. Should have bought this in the first place.

Ironton 7.25 Dry Cut Chop Saw
First one I received looked good from the top but wouldn't sit level. When I turned it over I could see the brackets for the feet were very poorly welded on, totally crooked. Sent that one back and the replacement looks and works fine. My only issue so far is that the workpiece holddown bracket tends to ride up over this flat stock and thus not securing the piece properly. Cuts OK, no complaints with that. Decent power. For the price of $130 I think it's a handy tool for the home shop.

Check the arbor tightness before first use!
Mine was loose which I didn't notice till it started getting stuck in the material. Also, as i didn't see it when i bought it, there max cutting capacities are not great:Cutting capacity: 0–90° Round rod: 2in., Square bar: 1 25/32in.in., Rectangular bar: 1 3/16in.–3 1/2in., L bar: 2 3/8in.Cutting capacity: 0–45°: Round rod: 1 1/4in., Square bar: 1 1/4in., Rectangular bar: 1 1/4–1 9/16in., L bar: 7/8in.Had I seen this i probably would of moved up a size in saw as all I want to work with is 1.5x1.5 square tube and angle iron.. if you read this capacity spec I can't do 45 miter cuts with 1.5 square. I may try it though to see where it bottoms out if anywhere.

very easy to use
my personal opinion , i lost my time and money buying this tool. the security screw is made in very bad material, is getting weak quickly.

Odd size blade arbor
If you expect to get a replacement blade for this saw at your local hardware store forget it. most blades have a 5/8 inch arbor (Hole at the center of the blade). This was does not. I have yet to find a replacement blade that will fit this thing. If I can't the entire thing will be a throw away.

Cuts clean and fast
The saw cuts very well, produces straight, fast and clean cuts. I have made about 2 dozen cuts with it and it doesn't seem to be wearing the blade at all. The clamp is just ok.. not great but works, the rest of the saw is built very solid.

Don’t buy it...
Don’t waste your money. Bought this to cut 1/2” 304 sst square tube. The first cut was beautiful. Every subsequent cut was forced and boogered.....
