Great device! Well made!
This keeps my cords organized very well, and I love how easy it is to wind them up or unwind them for use. I would definitely buy again, it's a quality product that is well made and worth having just to keep the tangled mess of cables off your floor and put it into a neat nice organized space. In fact Im going to order another one right now, for another extension cord I bought. Just buy it, you'll be glad you did.

Really Cleans Things Up!
We are still building various projects around the farm and I got tired of navigating through piles of power cords that want to strangle your feet! So, I picked up this reel. Boy, is it nice! It’s lightweight, but easily handled my elderly, stiff 100 ft extension cord. The plug goes into an outlet in the very center, then you wind everything up nice and neat. The whole reel lets off the length you need to get from the starting power receptacle and then you simply plug in whatever tool you need on the side. Flip on the power button on the side and you’re good to go. No piles of cord, it’s all neat and nice. I’m very happy!

Well made. One big drawback.
I love how practical this product is, with the outlet ports on the side and the rocker switch to connect and disconnect it from a power source. Always turn the rocker switch to the off position when not using it to be safe. The big downside is that there is little space between the bottom of the reel and the base. I am a woman with size 9 wide feet and I cannot get a good grip on the base to hold it down when wearing gym shoes while I reel in the cord. I attribute this to the narrow footprint of the base which does not protrude far enough out for clear access. It is frustrating. One work around is to hold the base down barefoot, but who wants to do that? It's not practical, but does solve the problem. This item seldom gets any use simply because I often only need it when I vacuum out my vehicle. For the price point, this product suffices. However, for frequent use, it would behoove a person to find one with a wider base for ease of use. The handle is easier to operate and the winding mechanism is quieter than a traditional all plastic unit, too, which I like. I agree with the reviewer(s) who state that this product is a good item to buy when you already have a cord and just need a reel to go with it.

Easy to use - Stable & sturdy - Repurposed for Elder's Oxygen Machine Hose
Using for 50 foot soft plastic small diameter tubing for my Mother's oxygen machine. Hand wrapping it was getting twisted & crushed & was difficult to do, especially with family member who isn't very dexterus. I ordered two styles, this expensive (to me) one & a much cheaper orange plastic one with the 'center spin handle' as an integral part inside the spool with no framework or base. That was awkward to hold, & hard to coordinate. This was pricey $22.94 (for my use as a spool) but well worth it Sorry I can't attest to the electrical plug aspect, but for the rest it's fantastic. It's very well made, sturdy, looks sharp, works like a charm, the cord doesn't twist or collapse anymore & has worked well for my repurposed application. When we eventually no longer need it for the oxygen condenser, we can use it for our outdoor heavy duty extension cords as it was intended. I'll try to add in photos later if I can. If my review has been of any use to you, I'd appreciate it if you could give me a "helpful" click, thanks.

Great product for the price.
UL listed. Light weight, probably not super durable, absolutely great for the $20 something price. This is a ideal reel for the homeowner who will use it a few times a year. It will hold a 16ga 100" cord. If you plan on using it frequently buy a higher grade. If you will use it once or twice a month for projects its great!

Seems fine, but inside was filled w Steel Shot
The whole thing is made of plastic (except the “frame”), but seems built well enough. It is on the small side, so for those that want to know what length cord it will hold, that will depend entirely on the gauge (thickness) of cord. I have a 50ft 12/3 cord, and that’ll max out the capacity. The main reason for the lower review is that when I unboxed this, it sounded like it was filled w/ sand and was leaking small particles. I removed the 3 screws holding the 4 outlet center unit and the entire center cavity was filled w/ very fine steel shot (or some sort of metal). It clearly should not be in there, so not sure what is going on. Hope it does not affect long term functionality of this item (ie. shorts, etc).

4-port outlet on reel and very easy to retract or extend!
Inevitably, extension cords will accumulate in the garage and get tangled in everything. This reel has been a great sanity saver and is very easy to extend or retract. Easy setup: Female end of extension plugs in to reel at core, pile up cord with reel handle, then plug male end in to wall socket. When you need electricity, grab the carrying handle and unreel to wherever you need power, and plug your appliance in to the 4-port outlet in the center of the reel. I bought a cheaper reel for half the price, but it is just a storage reel and doesn't have the option to keep the male end plugged in to the wall socket when you are moving the reel. The extra money was worth not having to unplug from the wall every time.

A Decent Cord Reel
This cord reel is fairly sturdy and will hold a 150 ft 12-2 cord. I really like the four provided power cord plugs with a rocker style on-off switch.
