OXOGood Grips Upright Sweep Set

What an excellent quality broom set! The size, function and design are all perfect. Works so well and picks up every crumb with ease!

First, the pygmy elephant in the room - this thing is small. the broom is completely inadequate for trying to sweep a whole room, but it's great for pulling out when you need to spot clean some kind of a spill. I'm still giving it 5 stars and will get to why, but just don't expect this to be the last broom and dustpan you'll ever own.Where this thing shines is in the quality Oxo puts in all of their products. The silicone lip does a great job of picking up the pile of dirt and dust in just a sweep or two. The silicone grippers on the upper part are great for catching hair and fluff off the broom. The materials look striking and high quality, and the parts generally all work well. What this kind of dustpan does for you is really saves your back from having to stoop down on the floor, and that's well worth it.Given the small size, I found myself generally cleaning with a regular broom, but then coming around with this to pick up the pile I'd created, and it was well worth the extra tool to save your back and not fighting a crappy plastic dustpan you have to sweep 6-7 times and you've still got crumbs on the floor it's not catching and you're doing it all bent over the whole time.Well worth it and I keep it around in the kitchen to quickly clean and catch spills on the spot.

My old favorite was the Quickie set, which was just a plain long handled dustpan (flat, not like an enclosed box) and broom but they are no longer available. After reading lots of reviews I went with this set. And it is small but it's perfect for getting into little nooks and around furniture legs etc. The sweeping function is great, the capturing function is also great, and easy to empty. Extremely lightweight so no fatigue. I am 5 foot six with normal length arms. I don't have to stoop over while using. It's a high-quality looking item and looks like it will last and has good grip too. Two more things I'd like to add after using a larger heavier one today in my garage: the fact that the collection box locks in the open position is so much more efficient than having it swing shut every time you lift it off the ground. And there's something about the handles and grips and the whole design that makes it seem like it's springy, like it's doing part of the work itself. It feels very much like an extension of your own arms and hands.

This broom has been great and the dustpan with the rubber scraper things is awesome but it’s wicked short. I guess I didn’t read that it wasn’t a normal length broom/dustpan. My fault, but other than the size it’s been fantastic for little sweeping jobs around the kitchen, just not fully sweeping a room.

The product seems very good quality but the length of the broom handle is sadly around 3 feet and maybe an inch or two. This makes it awkward to sweep with -- and I am not that tall! I didn't even think to check this as I just assumed the length of any broom would be longer, or at least adjustable. So I will be returning this product to find one that is longer overall. If you are looking for a broom with a shorter handle length than this would be a great one to buy.

I have a studio apt. and did not need a big broom. I usually vacuum and needed this for just picking up small things. Perfect for me and the teeth on the dustpan work well when you run the broom through it. Takes out the dust. Plus I have always liked xoxo brand . The quality is good.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A SMALL SET, usually known as a LOBBY BROOM used by restaurants, offices, in kitchen corners, etc. for quick sweep-ups. It is NOT meant for general cleaning. I wish it were described as such, so that people wouldn't be disappointed in its "child-size." It would also have saved me a couple of hours of searching online, as a lobby broom is what I wanted and everything else is way too large. OXO makes one like this in a full-sized model, look for it if that's what you want. The quality will be the same. Anyway, back to the lobby broom.I love this one. It stands alone either collapsed or open flat! I can sit it in any corner and it takes up almost no space and doesn't have to be leaning against anything. The broom bristles are slightly angled and are those nice, soft, OXO bristles that are thorough but gentle to hardwood, and that I love in my full-sized OXO broom. You can clip the broom almost anywhere along the dustpan handle, so you don't have to fuss with getting it in the dustpan for storage. And the comb for the bristles has rounded tines, so it's effective but gentle to the broom bristles.The beauty of a lobby broom is that you can leave it out and ready for any furry, crumby, or dusty mess. I love it for the entryway from the attached garage, too. This one makes my life easier. Highly recommended.

This mighty little set is super for hard to reach places and small jobs. Great for kitty litter, crumbs and dust under the table. But because of its diminutive size it is not for a full sweep on an entire floor, however the handled dustpan saves a lot of backpain. Recommended, especially for small apartments.
