The night vision is surprisingly very good. The videos, even at high def resolution, come out grainy and pixelated. Like it just scales up a low quality image capture. Frame rate is not always consistent. The microphone was easy to use, but like the video, the sound quality isn't the best. Not terrible, though I did not test it in a loud setting. If you're looking for a home camcorder or something for casual use, this is a great option. But if you're trying to get professional quality, you're better off using your phone.
