Good book for the basics. We used it as part of our homeschool curriculum. I like that it is broken down into small short lessons to keep the student's attention.

Use it for studying with my 2nd grader. It is helps to acquire new information but it has improved her comprehension skills and lot.

We loved using this book last year for homeschooling. My secondary grader loved it! I wasn’t sure if she’d like because the inside was black and white, but that was NOT and issue! We both loved it. Fun topics and activities that we paired with videos from YOUTUBE and books from the library. She remembers a lot a year later and we’ve revisited the book when covering the topics this year.

As a former public teacher now homeschooling my kids I really do believe this series is an good resource. I would't use it as the primary curriculum but the reading comprehension passages are some of the best I've seen. We usually go down a level or two to facilitate more independant work but that is just my children. We use the science and social studies books because my kids find the information interesting. I have never used any of the worksbooks except science and social studies.

180 days is my kids favorite curriculum. We buy 10 for their grade levels. There are so many options to chose from. My children have tried many curriculums over the years. They find 180 days both enjoyable and easy to know what to expect.

Itsa good book but there was a lot of writing in the.book. At least it was in pencil

This is a great option for social studies. My kids can quickly go through a page and it covers all the standards.

I bought this book thinking that it would be more challenging for my second grader, but it's a little under his reading level. It's still a good book to try out, though. We're only a couple of pages in, so I will update you once he completes half.
