I’ve been using this tapioca starch for a few months now and it’s been great. I’m Asian, so I grew up with this stuff being used in all kinds of cooking from thickening soups to making desserts and this one works just like the brands my family used.It’s super fine, blends easily, and doesn’t clump up.

Not "Regular" Rice Flour
Glutinous rice flour is NOT interchangeable with sweet rice flour (or any other rice flour) in recipes. This flour is finer/smoother, and will tend toward gumminess in baked goods, behaving more like a starch. As a plus, it has zero chalkiness, unlike other rice flours. Good flavor, but a unique texture. Bakers beware! I actually split this (1:1l with sweet rice flour for a squishier GF bread.

Good as expected
This tapioca starch is good value and nice quality. I use it to thicken sauces mostly, and sometimes a little bit for making mochi. I like the texture and it's tasty.

Good for recipes
I bought this because I had never dealt with making something that was gluten free and I thought I would need it. Found out that buying the right the flour for the recipe is a better fit. At least product came in good condition.
