Our first one lasted about a year before it started acting up. It developed a fault where it would intermittently cut out as soon as you hit the power button after selecting the temperature. A few months later it died altogether so we returned it under warranty and were sent a replacement bu Cuisineart. Her we are a year later and the exact same fault has developed again in the replacement, which is now barely useable and clearly on the way out as well. So there must be some fundamental design or manufacturing flaw in this kettle that renders it useless in a year or two. Which is really sad, because it could be the perfect kettle. Update: Now on our 3rd version of this kettle. Precisely the same fault described above has developed as the previous 2, in the same amount of time (10-12 months). Save your money and buy something else.

livrée inutilisable; Cette bouilloire m'a été envoyée avec une prise anglaise, j'ai donc demandé à Amazon de changer le socle de chauffe avec une prise aux normes françaises. Amazon me renvoie vers Cuisinart que j'ai appelé qui a fini par me dire que je devais leur renvoyer la bouilloire avec photos et factures.j'ai envoyé les documents par le mel donné par Cuisinart. au bout de 5 jours pas de bon de retour; je renvoie alors un mel la reponse assez séche est alors " voyez avec AMAZON". Pour en finir rapidement je suis aller acheter un convertisseur de prise 15€. grosse prise convertisseur qui occupe 2 entrées. Chapeau AMAZON et Cuisinart.

The kettle's opening button broke after two months! I don't recommend it! It's an expensive kettle that's not worth $50 for its quality.

Was working great until it stopped working today not even a year old. Would like to return it and get a refund.
