Actually wanted something to take with me when I travel so I don’t burn my hand taking a paper cup of coffee back to my hotel room from the lounge, etc. Didn’t really want one of those plastic or metal travel mugs you use in your car. These are perfect. They’re much lighter than I imagined and my wife loves the blue color. The tops fit snugly and should keep coffee warm for a decent length of time. They arrived in perfect condition and appear to be well made. I would definitely recommend them.

The mugs are good. Certainly don't keep liquids hot anywhere near as long as a Yeti or Hydroflask but at a fraction of the cost that's not unreasonable.The lids are junkhowever. After 6 months of use, the 'slide' seal on top has broken on both of them leaving a 3/4" sq. hole in the top of the lid.In Tru's defense, when I reached out, they immediately responded and gave me a refund for 50% of the original cost.

I love love love love it! The color, the texture, the grip, how long the drink stays warm. It's also nice to know that I'm using an environmentally aware and friendly product.

Keeps coffee warm long enough for me. I needed a cup to keep my coffee warm because it takes me so long to drink a cup with active children keeping me busy, my regular coffee mugs the coffee would be cold before I got half way through. I wish the handle was a little wider but it still works good and I like it. Love the blue color and cup does not get too hot to hold like regular mugs. Perfect size to hold in my hand.

The cup appears nice but feels cheaply made.

For this review these are a nice set (2) of mugs. My only issue with them is that the stainless steel is, say kind of low end made, meaning the materials. I consistently taste and smell metal when I drink from the mug and any liquid in the mug also tastes like metal. Since I wanted to make sure that it wasn't just me prior to this review, I had my Mom test the mug and she had the same issues that I did. I was sad that I couldn't use these mugs since I really thought these would be good traveling mugs. The outside of the mug is well made, the color was awesome, and you couldn't beat the price, that is the reason for the two stars. I will be returning these.

I got the 14oz version and love it. I already have so many mugs, including a hydroflask, but love that this is both insulating AND dishwasher safe. Drinking out of mugs is my preferred method for coffee (as opposed to a travel cup) so being able to pop a lid on and off this thing is great. I also love that when I make french press coffee, I can pour half into a regular mug and half into the Tru mug and the Tru mug will keep it warm. It doesn't last a super long time, compared to the hydroflask - fresh coffee will stay lukewarm for about 2 hours - but the ease, portability, and that little extra time for keeping things warm is so nice.I ordered this two weeks ago and have been using it nonstop since. I'm saving one for a christmas present so only using one mug continuously; I put it through the dishwasher twice and rinsed other times, been holding up great. Lid does not leak, although I haven't tipped it over or done anything crazy with it so I assume there will be some issues. Overall GREAT value.

I ordered this item because I wanted a mug with a lid that would not break if dropped or knocked off a table (cats), but was insulated to keep beverages warms.What I have found is that the mugs appear to have little or no insulation at all. A cup of coffee that starts warm actually appears to get cold *faster* in this mug than it does in a standard ceramic mug, even when it is pre-warmed with hot water.The colors are pretty, and it is functional with the lid, bug had I a choice I would have purchased something else.
