How long can I read a book on a single charge？

Quite a long time. I haven’t read more than a few hours at a time, but it’s still got more time after that. There are 4 dots that glow, indicating how much time is left, so it’s easy to see when it’s getting low and time to recharge. It’s a great little light.

Are the key presses loud? I like to read in bed at night,and I'am afraid that the sound of pressing the button will be noisy to my husband.

The Glocusent reading light my husband purchased for me is army green with one head and buttons on the base. The buttons do not make any noise when pressed. I've had this reading light since October 2022, and so far it's excellent. It lasts many hours before I have to charge it again. I use this light primarily when working on my computer in bed to light the area and my face (indirectly) on a video call. I've used it a few times for reading and it's excellent. I hope this helps.
