BLACK+DECKER 12-Cup Thermal Coffeemaker, Black/Silver, CM2035B

Purchased for my husband for Christmas. We had a prior GE that was seeing its last day! My husband was reheating his coffee on the stove as he did not like the taste change from microwave. This particle model has functioned very well with none of the prior issues noted from other reviews! This model is easy to use with a reservoir that is accessible and easy to fill. My husband is impressed with the water dispersion which is much improved over our old model with a noted improvement in coffee taste! Note: This model has the stainless carafe and you will be satisfied with reasonable expectations if you preheat the carafe he has found the coffee stays brewed hot for 3.5 hours and is still a good temperature at 4+ hours! No, coffee will not be brewed hot all day long! However, you can have the pleasure of drinking hot coffee for 3+ hours retaining maximum flavor without the burnt taste from microwaving or other heating. We use premium beans and with costs increasing it is an economical way to treat those beans the right way for great flavor and readily available hot coffee. While reviewing others reviews I’ll make the note that the carafe holds 2 quarts of water. You do the math that is 8 measured cups. Most cups are larger including ours so we say 6 cups of coffee! Not the size it says - 12 cups but typical for most coffee makers. We have not noticed much noise except at the end of brewing which to me signals the coffee is ready! Yum! With this model the carafe is easy to clean without special brushes. The spout of the carafe pours easily with no noted drips or spill issues! This coffee maker gets 5 stars for a coffee maker in a great price range with the stainless steel carafe. Features work as described and we’re hoping this machine gives us several years of great coffee! Price $86.93 during Christmas sales in combination with a nice stainless coffee grinder! To us that’s a bargain!

I purchased this upon a recommendation from a friend. I like my coffee hot and well brewed. This is the first time I've used an insulated carafe with no burner and I wasn't sure how I'd like it. But let me tell you, it is wonderful. The coffee stays as hot as when it was brewed, without continuing to cook as it does when sitting in a glass carafe on a hot plate. The added benefit is that I don't have to worry about my coffee pot turning a burner off an hour after brewing; the coffee in the insulated carafe stays hot for several hours, again, without cooking. It's average in brew time and you can see the water level in the tank to determine if it's finished brewing. Low noise level. I don't have to worry about dropping and breaking a glass pot. The last 2 coffee makers I've had the carafes have dripped when pouring coffee: hated it! But this one pours very nicely, no drips. And most of all, the coffee tastes amazing. You will not go wrong in purchasing this machine.

I purchased this coffee pot in October, 2025 and am still very happy with it. It keeps the coffee very hot for at least 1-1/2 hrs. I love the opening for the water reservoir. It's nice and wide, unlike my other maker. It's very easy to fill. I also like the wide opening on the pot itself, which makes for easy cleaning. There are 2 downsides to this maker - the display is very hard to read. It should be bolder or brighter. Also, there is no alarm to alert when the coffee is done. I did learn that the on light slowly pulsates when it is brewing. When the brewing is done, the light is steady. But, you have to keep checking the pot to see if it is ready. Overall, I highly recommend this coffee maker.

So I have had this maker for awhile now. So before I did my review I wanted to wait to give a honest opinion. I bought the same one 2yrs before this one. My last one just stop working. Though I think a coffee maker should last longer than that. This one has been working great. It is easy to use. Made well and the best feature why I choose this one was I was familiar with the exact same one..The stainless steel pot awesome. No more breaking of the glass. you know how when having granite countertops you misjudge and hit the edge of the glass pot and then you crack it. So after 3 glass coffee pots I went this way.I love that once it perks it shuts off. That it is insulated and keeps the coffee warm for hours. This came in Black color and dont think they have other colors for options but that wasnt a big deal. The water reservoir hold 12 cups of coffee and never had an issue of leaking. Though I think coffee maker is a little over priced . My first one 2 yrs before was way less and the mark up went over 40 dollars I thought was crazy. Though I still choose it. There is a programable timer to set so your coffee is ready when you wake with a clock display. So I would recommend this maker as it works very well, easy to use and no more breaking glass pots. I have nothing bad to say about the maker unless it stops working under 4 yrs then I would say then maybe find a better longer lasting one. Though I have had it about one year. I'll update if it fails may test.

Even though you can only make 10 cups max this unit has many good feature. The base plate that the carafe sits on is heated while the coffee is brewing. This warms the stainless carafe and helps keep the coffee hot longer. The hot plate shuts off after brewing to avoid burning the coffee. My old brewer with the brand name Melitta is an exact duplicate of this one. The water, during brewing, is above 190 degrees but less than 212 degrees. The cone filter gives you a good bloom time. This make san excellent brew of coffee.

I Love my new Black and Decker Coffee maker

I brought this coffee maker because I am looking for a coffee maker with a thermal carafe, but had to return it immediately as it was a 110V machine, something that isn’t mentioned on the product description and I did not want to get involved with a step down converter. Cant rate it really accordingly.
