Jiffy Steamer liquid cleaner

Works great!

I looked everywhere for a replacement filter for my Homedics steamer and found nothing. Right before giving up my search I stumbled on to this product. I simply poured it in the reservoir and let it sit overnight. The next day I rinsed it out and let the steam run for a minute to clear out the residue. After a couple uses it works like new again. Great product!

this items works very well, i ve still had problems with steamer. product done what it was supposed to do. steaqmer was sent by company and had been used before even though was supposed to be new ,worked for several month,then failled because was clogged with minerals. since i only used distilled water in must have been sent out from manufacture this way. will try to purchase from again . don' t have money to throw away on luxuries.

I use my steamer weekly and though I use filtered water to minimize mineral build-up, over time you will always accumulate damaging deposits in the tank that could compromise the integrity. This is a simple descaler, very easy to use and very effective. Directions are straight forward. You add a small amount of water inside the tank, then pour the designated amount of cleaner inside, wait several hours, then pour the contents out and flush several times with clean water. So simple and very effective. Avoid problems and extend a trouble free steamer by using this basis but effective product.

Ruined my machine. I don’t know what happened, but after I used it (following the instructions on the bottle) my 11-year-old Jiffy J-2000 stopped working on and off and emitted a strong burning smell. Eventually it stopped working altogether.

Very annoying that the cleaning instructions are covered by a UPC label.

Clears out hard water deposits perfectly and directions are easy to follow. The steamer works really well too. Took it on a 3 week Europe trip and made all my cute dresses wrinkle free. Bought the adapter for it and it worked on all outlets I used.

I work in the film industry and this is the same one that I see used on many of the commercials and smaller productions on which I work. It is absolutely the best. I have owned other steamers, but this is much better. I have also owned other Jiffy steamers which were incidentally more expensive and/or had larger reservoirs: however, I prefer this one for home use. According to the literature, one tank of water can last 1.5 hours. I absolutely believe it. I don't know how a relatively small tank can last so long. But it does.
