JET 8-Inch Industrial Bench Buffer, Variable Speed, 1 HP, 115/230V 1Ph (IBG-8VSB)

I just received it and so far it’s a great machine. I really like the variable speed . One thing I need to mention is some are saying it trips the GFCI outlets Yes it will trip 15amp gfci but Not 20 amp it Never tripped my 20 amp GFCI!

Are you tired of being disappointed buying junk, inferior products, cheap imports? If you really want a polisher/buffer made in America that will last and is built with quality, look no further. I understand $400 is more for some people than others, I get it. But if you want quality and something you can use for years, this polisher is very nice for the money. Love the digital readout and control. It's smooth and very powerful; it didn't bog or overheat while polishing solid brass for hours. It was more than I hoped to spend, but I'll have it the rest of my life. Good job, Jet.

I was really worried it would trip my house gfci but it did not, great product

When I first turned it on to use it I was expecting some degree of vibration, but there was ZERO. It is very smooth running and performs as it should. It is also very quiet. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic buffer - zero complaints. This buffer is pricey, but that’s a variable speed buffer for you. Buy once, cry once. Seems to be built like a tank. Highly recommend.

I waited to review this buffer until I’d used it on a couple projects. This jet buffer IGB-8VAB is fantastic! Very impressive it can easily be speed up or down while in motion. And has gobs of power never leaves you wishing for more. It’s very quiet no hearing protection necessary, a plus to me. O an extremely smooth running at any speed. I highly recommend it.

I am very pleased with the buffer overall. It runs smooth and quiet, noticeably more so than the Harbor Freight models. Also noteworthy is the LED display and true variable speed at 100 RPM increments. I am glad I spent the extra $150 for significant quality improvements. The only issue is that the picture indicates it comes with a light, but none was included with mine. I am not overly concerned about it myself, but still a little disappointed.

When I first started doing polishing work, I tried using a 3/4 horse grinder motor... problem is, they typically spin waaaaay too fast, and there isn't a way to put a motor controller on them that isn't almost as expensive as this unit. With this, you get amazing control of just how fast it's spinning, down to 900 rpm. I still need to do a lot of hand work because there are some situations no polisher will work for, but when I can use one...this is it. Would give six stars if I could. Plenty of power even on 110V, total control, great build quality. It's not cheap, but in this case I think you do get what you pay for. I wish I would have started with this instead of trying to make other motors work...would have been cheaper in the long run.
