Sturdy, long basting brush. Works well for the BBQ grill to get the meat towards the back. Does just fine in the dishwasher.

This simple brush does the job. It's nice and long so my forearms and hands aren't exposed to high heat. I've used it quite a bit and it is holding up well. Note: I have lost a few bristles during cleaning of the brush early on.

Great for bbq basting

I needed a grill brush with a longer handle because I mainly use this when cooking over a campfire. This one helps with the brushing/basting while keeping my hands further from the fire.

I got this for purposes different than barbecuing. I need it to help in the garden and on my porch and I wasn't looking for it, but when it came up on my screen, I thought, "aha, that's what I need!" I need it to jostle out dried leaves stuck in nooks and crannies, where insects may be, and I need it to poke and brush away spider nests from the corners of the ceiling of my porch. Granted, these bristles are too soft to be ideal for that, but, this brush was fine otherwise. Except that I didn't get what was in the photo. What they sent had sparse bristles, which were shorter than the bristles in the photo. If the bristles were as described, then despite their softness, I could still push the tips to the side of the spider nest and then push/scrape the nest away. But, there's not enough material to do that!!!! As a barbecue brush, the bristles are too sparse for slathering sauce onto the food, and you can only dab it on instead. The brush in the photo had enough material to slather on the sauce, and so even for it's advertised purpose of barbecuing, this brush is not very good. I'm in chat right now about this, and they're horrible. They keep telling me they will tell the team to send the brush I ordered and I'm asking how that is guaranteed to work, and I was hung up on. What a joke!! So, I simply do not recommend this brush because both the brush and the customer service ARE BAD.

they don,t sell them anymore in stores and i like a real brush rather than rubber which is now offered

I was looking for a basting brush to put olive oil on the grill so the chicken or turkey burgers do not stick. Upon touching the hot grill with the olive oil, the brush bristles started melting. After several times of using it only to put the olive oil on the cold grill before turning the grill on and for putting the barbeque sauce on the meat, the bristles started falling out. I did go back to read the reviews after I used the brush to put the olive oil on the hot grill, and one of the reviewers had warned not to touch the hot grill with the brush (it was too late by this point as I had already partially melted the bristles on the brush). I am sure the brush would work fine for putting the sauce on the meat, but don't touch the hot grill with the bristles

Nice length for the BBQ. Like the natural bristles much better than nylon.

The bristles fell out the first time we used it . They were sticking to the food , so we were picking them out of our mouths . We really wanted a brush as we do cook outdoors a lot . But the brush started coming apart the first day.
