Arrived packaged very well...it is nicely made. The wood tone is what we expected. The size is smaller than our previous mantle clock but looks nice. We decided to keep it. So far it is keeping accurate time.

Appears to be a nice wood clock. Wish the clock face was somewhat larger like our previous one as it sits on the F.P. Mantle where it's far enough away from a comfortable viewing point. The clear quartz clock mechanism appears to be a higher quality than previous clock's mechanism that stopped frequently with a full charged battery. This clock is nice and quiet and has NO chimes. For those who like chimes, look elsewhere. This one is for quiet spaces :)

Great clock and it is perfect for the fireplace mantel. It works great so far (one week) and keeps perfect time. The one AA battery seems to be powering it fine (it remains to be seen how long a battery lasts...but so far, so good). I like the 'sweeping' second hand as opposed to a 'ticking' second hand. The clock is also super silent. It's also available in a variety of colors! I may pickup a second aqua one for the beach house ;-)

The clock is exactly what we wanted

If you're looking for an inexpensive mantel clock, this will fit the bill quite nicely. It's a quartz movement, so it will keep accurate time without needing to be wound, and it's silent (the clock is in a room where I often work from home, plus simulated chimes from quartz clocks don't sound as nice as the real thing).A couple of nitpicks, though:* The glass picks up glare from my floor lamp, which affects the readability of the clock when the lamp is turned on.* The battery cover broke when I was putting it back on the first time after setting the clock. I was hoping the cover would be made of more durable plastic. It's fortunately easy to hide, but that means the cover can be easily lost (and I'm glad I live alone and don't have young children to worry about).Overall, it's a good clock for the budget-conscious. Just be careful with the battery cover and keep the room lighting in mind.

Love the mantle clock, works great

This white colored clock is just what the wife and myself were looking for. It is not to big and has a nice size face on it. We had a gold type Anniversary Clock that chimed every hour on the hour and used to keep you awake because it was very loud, this one is very quiet and we both just love it. Good Job and I would buy again.
