Do your research before you buy.
Fantastic watch. Default strap is very comfortable, time is accurate, and hands are lined up perfectly. While this isn't the most "Bauhaus" watch, it is very unique and well worth the money.

Beautiful dress watch, great details
Solid watch, works great and looks great. The leather strap is soft and well made Italian leather. Likely the only quartz that I will own.

Disappointing build quality.
Nice design, but poor build quality.

Top notch seller, but disappointed with the watch.
This is a high-quality watch, but this listing has some caveats.Case diameter listed as 40mm, but in actuality is only roughly 36mm with the extra 4mm being the crown. 4mm makes a HUGE difference in the size of the watch face. The picture is also misleading as it shows a very light beige face but the face is truly a darker beige. That being said, even though I ordered this as a holiday gift well ahead of the holidays and I was outside the window of Amazon's 30-day return policy, I contacted the seller (Just Watch Me) and they were happy to do a return for me.

It is quite beautiful in person
My dad loves this watch. It is quite beautiful in person. Looks just like the pic but better.

disappointed
I was excited about this watch when I ordered it as I thought that the Bauhaus design would carry over and make this a very unique and distinguished looking dress watch. I really love the German watches as my grandfather was from there and was into watches. This watch didn't translate as such. There is too much detail on the dial (yeah I should seen that one from the pics) causing it to appear a bit cartoonish but more so, the tan dial really makes it look amateurish. It's a shame as I really think if it were a white dial with slightly less promotion (i.e. "Bauhaus")!it would have done wonders to the distinction and classiness of this watch. If you have the money, the Junghan watch does a much better job but it will cost you. Autran and Vila makes a very nice minimalistic watch. Also, a really interesting Deutsche timepiece with a museum quality look to it is the Botta Helos-that is what I wound up purchasing and returned this time piece.

The weight and feel is very nice. It is light and I hardly notice it ...
I've had this watch for about 6 months with regular wear. This is my first watch and I am no expert. The weight and feel is very nice. It is light and I hardly notice it on my wrist. The size of the face is perfect for the size of my wrist, however the thickness of the glass is more than I wanted. It protrudes from the face a few millimeters. I wanted something very thin and close to my wrist and this is not that watch. I love the classic look and design it is just a little to thick.

The ONLY thing I'm not 100% in love with is the size
The watch is really niece! The ONLY thing I'm not 100% in love with is the size. A little bigger would've been great.

Great Vintage Looking Watch
I paired this watch with a Spiedel strap and I love the look. I think the raised bottle cap glass or plexi can get easily scratched but I don`t wear the watch everyday and take it off if I know I`m going to do something that may scratch it. I think any watch with a raised glass is going to be susceptible to getting scratched if you are not careful. I read a review saying the look of the watch is obviously Bauhaus and the included word on the dial isn`t necessary and while I agree, it doesn`t bother me. The pics clearly show the watch in my opinion so there were no surprises when I received it.

Klassische Herrenuhr ohne jede Macke

Masterpiece in Design
Best looking watch I have ever seen. It really is a masterpiece in design. Simple yet very effective. Combine it with a quality Swiss movement and you have and exceptional watch at an really good price!
