These are great to put under steps & cabinets that are hard to see inside.

Works very well in our RV cabinet where the switches are Lights up the switches very well at night so we pick the correct switch needed

I ordered these to put inside a deep pantry cabinet so we could see what was inside. They had a nice solid feel and were just the right size. They could not be any easier to install! I peeled the back off of the tape and stuck the whole thing just inside of the door, light attaches magnetically to tape for easy battery change. Tested them out - PERFECT! They would come on when I opened the door and turn off automatically around 60 seconds after I closed the door. I tested them two or three times and they worked just as expected.I did not tell my husband about them and waited for his surprise and amazement the first time he opened the cabinet. Imagine MY surprise and amazement when NOTHING HAPPENED. I went and removed one to test. NOTHING. batteries out then in again. It flashed as I closed the battery cover then NOTHING.being inside a closed cabinet they should not be activating at all unless the door is opened. Just walking through the kitchen is not enough to trigger. Given that info the batteries should last a lifetime. I tested the ones I took from the first failure and popped them into a battery tester and they are solidly in the green, not 100% but still only halfway to the 'it is getting kind of weak' line.for the first half hour I used them they were the perfect solution. Too bad it did not last longer. I will think about returning them but not sure if it is worth the hassle.9-7-19 revision. After more time it appears that they DO work, they just don't like my kitchen light. When the ceiling light is off they work just as expected but if the kitchen light is on at any time of day the lights refuse to come on when the cabinet is opened. The light is attached to the 'ceiling' of the cabinet in the shadow of the inner door frame (maybe 2" high). The light from the ceiling fixture never touches the inside cabinet fixture. Apparently it thinks there is enough light even though inside the cabinet is still very shadowy.Upgrading from 1 star (because it did not appear to work) to 3 stars (because they work sometimes).

These light sticks are very durable. and easy to assemble. I put them around the baseboard throughout my house. The motion senor allows my elderly Mom and visitors to get around the house with out turning on the overhead lights. Can also be used in a dark closet. Great Safety idea.

I bought two boxes of four lights to put around a large house and to give a few to my aged mother with poor eyesight for when she gets up at night in her apartment. One of my mom’s two lights stopped working even though the four Aaa batteries of the light still had nearly full charges.Each box of lights had a note inside saying to contact the manufacturer for any reason if dissatisfied. I went to the website as I no longer had the note, wrote a message online, an agent responded via email, and within a few days I had received a complete set of four lights even though only one had been defective.The lights themselves are very useful if you get up in the middle of the night and to save your fumbling for a light switch if you open a closet or go into a dark room. We have two just to alert visitors that there is a step down before entering a parlor room because older people might not see the step and could injure themselves.

Easy to install and just enough light for the application.
