Very useful bin, compacts well and easily. I bought this in the sale, I thought this was a little expensive at full price. This is a very well made and sturdy bin, very easy to use to compact rubbish. It has reduced my use of bin sacks considerably, a bag now lasts 3 weeks, very impressed.Would recommend.

Bought this bin purely because of the compaction feature which works OK for the first couple of times of compaction using Joseph Joseph bin bags, however, on 3rd, 4th etc times of trying to compact, the bags either split at the top of the bag or reduce in length so you cannot wrap the bag round the gadget that holds it in place! To be honest I was about to return it as these bins are very expensive and wasn’t going to keep it if it’s not doing the job that it was bought for! Anyway, thought I’d try a black bunny bag instead of JJ bag and they work perfectly! So far I’ve probably compacted about 7/8 times using the same black bag and it’s not ripped nor has it come out of place! Would recommend with caution

It's great, compacts very well so I'm making less trips down four flights of stairs to the bins.

No matter what I do or how I do it I cannot get the bin bag to A) stay in the bin at the top and B) to squash down as it was advertised. It squashes down then comes straight back up. It drives me crazy. It was so much money and probably the worst bin I have bought.

The compressor doesnt work well. Dont waste your money, don't get me wrong its a very good looking bin and we are keeping it. But the compress function is bad, it compresses well but then brings all the food back up so you have to use your hands to push it back down (which you couldve just compressed it with in the first place)!

Great bin. It was on a brilliant offer at the time as I never though I'd spend this amount of money on a bin, but the reduced footprint in our kitchen is 100% worth it. As the bin is being emptied less frequently it does get a bit smelly if you leave it too long, but the lid does keep the majority of smells locked up. Even though it's emptied less, it's still less smelly than our previous bin!

This bin is excellent to save space in the rubbish bin. Since buying it, there hasn’t been a week that I can’t fit the rubbish in the black bin outside and most of the times I have space left.The only issue I have is that it’s very hard to clean inside. Being a rubbish bin it does happen that something spills inside, and washing the bottom is really hard. I can’t reach the bottom easily and having washed it with a garden hose it’s taking ages to dry.It would be better if the inside could be removed.

The system for putting new bags in is horrendous I truly would never of bought it only for the brand name I went ahead. Very very disappointed in this product and so expensive.. more thought needed.
