Love these books
Love these as first-person reference materials. Some of the older ones could use updates in copy. I wish so many weren't out of print. But do enjoy this one. Hate to glorify weaponry... But it is a cool book.

Just what we needed
My kid brought this home from the school library and asked for it. Glad we have Amazon.

Great for my pre-teen
My son picked this book out at a homeschool conference off a table with tons of books. He saw it again at a book store, so I knew I had to get it for him. Good details and pictures for those interested in arms/armor/weapons.

Wow!!!
The illustrations & photos were awesome. My grandson loved it! The information was wonderful. I didn't realize that there was a clip art CD in it. He has spent hours looking at it. I would buy for anyone interested in weapons.

Nice book
Nice book that is for a younger child, maybe 3 to 9 or so years of age.

A Summary With Pictures (But a Good One)
More a pictures and facts book than a research or history book, but then, I'm sure it's intended for a casual younger audience. For it's part, it's a nice visual representation of certain items. I'm using it largely as an idea reference for weapon and armor design, and for that, it's quicker than Google.

Weapons and Armor suited for Battle
If you have a fascination with weapons and armor like I do, you are definitely going to want to take a good, long look at this book. It features all kinds of weapons and armor from many different eras of time, most of which are historical. And believe me, this is definitely a plus for me. In fact, I can hardly wait until I have enough money to buy it's 'sister book' known as Eyewitness, Battle!

Fun little time-killer
Nice coffee table book with good photographs and layout that'll keep someone occupied while they're in a waiting room (or otherwise idle).
