Smoothest paper ever
I absolutely love this product. I received a different stone paper sketchbook for Christmas and wanted more but the price was crazy so I found these. The paper is so smooth to write on. I love using ballpoint pens and pencils on this paper. My only complaint is the cover. It's that plastic that attracts every hair and dust because of static so that drives me crazy but oh well it's still a great notebook.

Fantastic New Favorite!
The covers and binding spirals are extremely sturdy but the spiral is so tight that the paper cannot fully rotate around it. The paper is fantastic and feels like nothing else. It is perfectly heavy and durable and yet incredibly smooth. The sheets are slightly larger than a standard notebook, the lines are college ruled, and there are very convenient blank slants to record the date on the top right corner. Every writing utensil looks better on the stone paper and there is almost no bleed through (even with Sharpies). Gel ink looks especially vivid on them. I personally love Pilot G-2 10 Bold. My only complaint is that the stone paper is not as absorbent so ink takes a longer time to dry so without patience or care one will be left with an illegible ugly smeared mess. You can always use a battery-powered fan or even a small hair dryer if you are especially impatient, lol. If you take care though, nothing creates better looking notebook writing or art. Last but not least, the paper is perforated very finely so it is removed easily and without any tearing. I absolutely love stone notebooks but these are my favorite so far for the date and the perfect perforation. Once you master not smearing your ink, this will become your favorite specialty paper. I think it's worth the price but I'm a paper, marker, and pen snob, lol, so...

So Smooth to Write On
Incredibly Smooth to Write On I love these Oxford stone paper notebooks. The paper is amazingly smooth, making writing feel effortless and clean. Ink glides easily without smudging, and it’s a pleasure to use for note-taking or journaling. The size is perfect, and the notebooks feel well made. I would definitely buy these again.

Works with most writing utensils but the paper is somewhat soft
It is waterproof as advertised, I used it for field notes while wading in the ocean and it looks good as new after the salt water dried off (and if there was residual salt or other dirt, you can just wash it off with fresh water). Most writing utensils work, I attached some images showing how some common ones fared against it. Any water-soluble inks will immediately wash off and off-brand sharpies don't do well over time, while pencils and standard pens do fine (if you're using a special pen then test it out on a page corner first, I had some fancier ones that would wash away or smear when they got wet.) Some issues were a somewhat annoying spine that didn't let the pages fold back easily, and the paper is kind of "soft" and the pencil digs in if you press too hard. It never broke through the paper, but the other side would have a weird raised area like a scab.

Nice notebooks, but…
These are really nice stone paper notebooks. I bought one a few years ago and loved it. It’s full now, so I recently bought a couple more. Somehow they’re the same but also slightly worse? Everything smears, including #2 pencil, and the paper is thinner and far easier to poke through than I remember. I wrote in my last one with a mechanical pencil with no problems, but the new ones can’t handle it. The paper is nice and smooth, but I don’t think I’ll be buying any more stone paper. It’s too finicky for my taste. If you’ve never tried these, consider before you buy that you’ll need to experiment with different types of pens and only certain pens will fully dry on this paper. Everything else will smear and never dry, and you can’t put much pressure on the ‘hard to tear’ paper without it…tearing. Didn’t have these issues with the first one I owned, but for whatever reason these do.

Great Perforated Notebook
The thickness and feel of the stone paper is excellent. The perforations are very good and tear easily, even for multiple pages. The cover is durable and color is nice.

Sharp looking and takes ink well
If quality and texture is your game, then this notebook is in your bag.
