Great product and works great

My Camp Chef only had one probe but I had to plug both probes into the switch because when I left one probe off the powerful spark would short out by jumping to the unused connection. I put the first probe in the same hole the original probe was installed and I put the second probe through the match light hole after finding two washers to make it fit in the large hole. The button switch fit perfect in the outer match light hole. I probably could have just just taped up the 2nd probe connection so it wouldn't short out and only use one probe but I figured 2 would be better than one.Tools needed for my camp chef- drill, bits, wrenches and 2 washers.Time - about 20 minutes to find what I need and install it.

I used this ignitor to retrofit into a 20 year old high end BBQ. The way the electrodes mount, I had to drill holes in the stainless steel side of the unit, but this was not too difficult starting with a small bit and then using larger bits to expand the hole. The electrodes then mount easily and firmly, and bend easily to make close contact with the burners. I do get sparks on both burner, but neither ignites the gas (although a match does so easily). However, I don't think this is a problem with this igniter (or my installation; I used a wire brush in a drill to clean the drilled hole areas to get a good ground connection). I hope you fare better.

No problem easy install.Lit it right up 1st time all the time.Stopped working.I.d.i.o.t error.I think I put it way to close to the flame.

I used this on a spud gun for which it works pretty darn well. It installs quickly and doesn't need a lot of adjustment. I especially like the long wires which let you stand back a bit.

Used this on an old Camp Chef double burner. Drilled one hole for each burner in the round side plates and placed the electrodes through the holes, and within about 1/8 of an inch of the burners. Zip tied the wires and the ignition button neatly out of the way. Turned on the propane tank, tuned on the burners and sparks every time. However ensure there is no residue from your fingers on the probes when first time lighting.

EZ install, works perfectly.

Works great but has no mounting bracket. Had to improvise.
