Callaway Golf Women’s Strata Complete Set

-Overall Review: I bought the 14-piece set (teal) and I really like it! If you want a complete set and are genuinely interested in learning the game and getting better, I'd recommend the 14- or 16-piece sets but not the 11-piece. -Personal Background for Context: Mid-20s, female, 5'7, ~155lbs (clubs seem to be a good fit for my body btw). I had absolutely zero golf experience before I bought these clubs, but I've been wanting to learn for work reasons. I went golfing once or twice using rental clubs to see if I liked it. I did, so I went to a Dick's Sporting Goods and tried out their different club sets (most Dick's have golf simulators for you to try clubs). Then ordered the one I liked on Amazon. Although I had no golf experience, swinging the club comes very naturally to me because I played ice hockey and field hockey for 20+ yrs. -Pros: Honestly, I don't know exactly what to pay attention to but I think these clubs are pretty good! First of all, they are SO lightweight. I normally walk the course but am still surprised every single time by how lightweight my bag feels. I live where it's pretty cold so most of my golfing has been in ~45 degree weather. This bag has one pretty deep pocket on the back that I use to hold all my balls, tees, glove, etc. and then one very large pocket that runs the length of the entire bag. (There are other pockets, but I don't use them.) I stuff that long pocket with jackets and extra layers. Even so, the bag is still super lightweight! Second, the clubs never reverberate up my hands and sting when it's cold out either. Third, the driver has a pretty good sweet spot! I'm not very consistent yet because I'm just learning so I typically hit my driver anywhere between 180-210 yards. 8-iron around 115 yds. 6-iron around 150 yds. I would say I'm naturally very athletic but I still feel like those are some pretty good numbers for someone who is just learning and I would largely credit the clubs because I'm not even swinging as hard as I possibly can. Fourth, given how well my clubs have performed and the fact that this set comes with enough clubs for me to play a full course, I think this is a great package for the price. Finally, the set looks nice and I like that it's a stand bag because I walk. -Cons: I'm much better at hitting the 5 wood and 5 hybrid than I am my irons. Although I feel like I certainly have all the clubs I need in my 14-piece set to play a complete game of golf, I do wish I bought the 16-piece so that I could have more woods/hybrids in my bag. As I get better, perhaps I will grow to like my irons more. But it's a big jump to go from a driver to a 5 wood. I definitely think it would be helpful to have a 3 or 4 wood too.

As a beginner golfer, this set is perfect—it truly has everything you need to get started right away. The clubs are comfortable, forgiving, and easy to hit, which makes learning so much more fun. Plus, the purple color is absolutely adorable and stands out on the course. The bag is lightweight yet sturdy, with plenty of pockets for storage. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase!

Decent set. Driver works well. Clubs don’t tell you the degree of loft on the clubs anywhere. Wish they did. Ample zippered pockets. Lightweight enough to carry.

These clubs are easy to use and perfect for a beginner set! Color is bright, bag is easy to hold and put in a cart. Looks nice

Got this as a gift for my girlfriend’s Christmas present and she loved it. It comes with everything a new golfer needs. The build quality is good comes with a driver, putter, sand wedge, pitching wedge and irons from 6 through 9. She loved the blue teal color it came with. And she loves the way all the clubs feel when she hits. If you are looking to get your girlfriend, wife, sister, or daughter a club this is the perfect starting set. Coming from me who has played golf a while this is an amazing set! They look amazing and sound amazing. This is a good starting set without breaking the bank and not sacrificing quality of the clubs.

Wow! These are terrific! The description said these are USED, but I am looking over them and I do not see a scratch or ding anywhere! My daughter just made the golf team and has only golfed for a few weeks on a very used, borrowed set of clubs. Since she is left handed, we had a heck of a time finding a good set that didn’t break the bank. These definitely checked all of the boxes. I think she will be very happy when she comes home today and see’s them.

I am a long time beginner golfer in my 70's. This is a light bag of clubs easy for me to handle. I am 5' tall and the size of the clubs are easy for me to use. My family has remarked how straight I am able to hit with these great looking clubs. Using the hybrids was a new experience, but I am learning to love them. The grips are comfortable and the quality is evident. The bag has easy access compartments. I have used the clubs for several months on a regular basis and I highly recommend this set.

I am an absolute beginner and have been hiring clubs when having a social hit with the girls. I was excited to be getting my very own clubs. I did a lot of research for quite some time and felt these were the best for me. They arrived in good time and have all the clubs that I need. I used them for the first time today. They were great. Very light to use, and, I improved my game! When I first unpacked the driver, it looked huge and I didn’t think I would use it, but after today, it is one of my favorites. I love everything about this package, and there are plenty of compartments in the bag for everything. I can’t wait to get out there again. Definitely a fantastic purchase. I’m so happy that I bought these. Grab them, you’ll love them.
