Well like others have said it will strip some plastic from your gun. So, if you don't want that then look for a different light. Even after I finally got it on there's a few problems. One, it's so tight its hard to quickly get on/off and for something that claims to be a quick detach, it's certainly not. Second, if you look at the front of the light around the bulb area you can see these spikes. Well, these spikes cut the crap out of your hand when trying to get it on and off. Unless you plan to use this thing to pistol whip your enemy then its a really bad and painful feature. I would recommend grinding them down so you don't cut yourself every time you use it. Lastly, the button to turn the light on and off is too far to operate with one hand while holding the gun so you need to use your other hand to turn it on/off. Maybe ok for most users but just pointing that out. Overall once you get it on its on there pretty tight and its fairly bright. I give it a 3/5 for stripping some plastic and the death spikes on the front.

Bought this for my H&K VP9 pistol. It's well built metal. Its slides on a super tight on first install. even scrapes away a lil plasitc off the rail.but put some lube to slide it on and then you hear the click and this sucker is on for life unless u press the tab and forcefully remove it!Pros:Light weightBRIGHT!!!!stays tight on the rail no wigglesDid i say Bright Holy Cow! And the Strobe Id pay ya 500 bucks if you can stare into the strobe and not look away its that powerful! Love it as its on my home defense weapon. so No thats not god bringing you up to heaven if your trying a robbery its your end haha.Cons:It scrapes a lil plastic off the rail.(Not much to notice but youll see the string at the end on first install atleast mine did)

Overall quality is great. Light is bright and easy to use. Pretty rugged. Only issue I had - it was difficult to attach to my h&k vp9. I can't tell if it's because of a little longer in the lower receiver or if it's the light mount. Will play around with it too see if I'm just doing something wrong.
