my son and daughter in law love taking pictures with their little polaroid camera , the newer ones that print out the little 2x3 in pictures. this frame and mat were perfect for letting them display some of their favorites. they have some really cute ones from their dating months and then from engagement and so on. lots of room for pictures in the frame. easy to place the pictures behind the mat, the frame is a basic black , not wood but not plastic material, maybe acrylic. you can put 30 pictures in it of that type. the back has brackets for hanging on the wall. closes securely to hold all the pics inside. overall quality is good and the price is very affordable.

Very poor construction; materials felt cheap. Plastic cover instead of glass. The slots don’t really hold the instax polaroid photos in place. You have to tape them to the frame. Decided to return it in the end.

This is great! Mrs Aloha Friday asked me to request this without telling me what it was for. We had taken some mini instant film photos of ourselves decades ago before selfies was even a thing, and she said she thought they might fit even though it says in the listings that they don't. Mrs AF can be really sneaky! (She did check, and the pop shot sized ones didn't fit, in case any of you are wondering as well.) Turns out, she was plotting to frame some photos I had taken with my trusty Nikon over our years together. A while back, she had made me a set of thick, matte business cards from that printing company called the sound a cow makes. They allow you to put a different image on each and every card. So cool. They fit like a glove and it's absolutely perfect. The wood isn't the cheapest, not the most exotic and expensive either, but solid. It's a neutral tan shade, not reddish, more golden if anything. The mat for the frame is a soft white, not ivory, not a cool white. If you don't care for the wood grain or the tone, you can always select the white or black instead. Make sure to peel the protective plastic cover off both sides of the acrylic before you frame your pictures. It peels off in one piece, not like some crazy labels manufacturers put right in front of some products that takes an eternity to scrape off! We both think it looks awesome, and you really don't notice it's not glass. The acrylic makes the frame lightweight, so it could even work on an RV wall. Mrs AF said the whole thing was easy to put together and the sliding latches that hold the whole piece together in the back operate really smoothly with just a little press downwards. Those are often finicky; she's even had to push some open with a screwdriver, but she said this was perfect. The whole frame is exceptionally well made and was a joy to put together. I love it and love the surprise she made me! I see another user got creative with some scrapbook paper. You could really use these for just about anything. The small openings make a tiny little gallery that's a real conversation starter.

Frame came cracked. wouldnt repurchase.
