Easily installed into existing High Hats. Remove bulb and trim, screw into existing socket the supplied adapter, plug in connectors, attach ground and push the fixture into housing. Should you have to remove a simple twist of the fixture than pull down.

This can be connected to Alexa without buying stupid membership for a monthly fee. Directly connects to halo bridge and then to Alexa. Very happy and had no problem to connect with free halo app.

These are great lights. I'm not a big fan of the exclusivity of things like using their specific (costly) switch dimmers for this product (hence the 4 and not 5-stars). My applications are mostly on/off...not constantly dimming by physical switch....so these things are great. Controlling the lights with your phone and being able to set up groups to control multiple lights...smart move. I've used them with both the spring and the friction clips and they install very easily and simply. Not many complaints here.

I needed this light to replace a Freit Electric recessed light that they no longer support the app as Apple released new iOS updates. So far so good with Halo hopefully they will continue to support their consumers not looking Freit Electric.

Easy to install and very nice looking patio lights!!

Our older house had a switch that controlled both the shower and the sink. By replacing the down lights with these and sticking a battery powered (and appropriately named) anyplace dimmer on the wall, we were able to dim and adjust the shower and sink individually. Saved me a lot of time and effort trying to get above the ceiling.

Don't like to write reviews and rant, but I made a huge mistake trusting this brand. The lights will never stay connected to the app. I have to re-sync every 2-4 weeks or else I have to suffer the constant blinking when turning them on. To re-sync, you will need to add the devices again and re-group, EVERY TIME!!!!HALO SOFTWARE PEOPLE, PLEASE FIX YOUR APP BUILD!!!! I HAVE MORE THAN 75 INSTALLS OF THESE LIGHTS AND IT'S SUCH A CHORE TRYING TO ADD DEVICES EVERY TIME THEY LOSE CONNECTION!!! PLEASE HIRE COMPETENT SOFTWARE ENGINEERS AND APP BUILDERS. THIS IS JUST BLUETOOTH TECHNOLOGY AND THE BUILD, STRUCTURE ALL THE WAY TO UX/UI DESIGN REALLY TAINTED YOUR NAME!!!!

compre como 25 de estas lamparas para toda mi casa, en general, la lampara parace buena, de buena calidad, pero aveces se desconfiguran solas algunas de ellas sin razon, la applicacion aun necesita algo de trabajo, pero es genial poder manejar la intensidad desde una app, pero lo que si de plano no me gusto de ellas es la forma de empotrarlas en la pared o techo para lo que valen, es realmente mala,es poco practico, se daña facil y terminas pegandola con silicon o tornillos
