Second Edition up to date and in depth. Students of engineering and science as well as those who crave an in-depth knowledge will benefit and enjoy this work.

Content wise the book is great. But when I pay $100 I expect the quality also of that level. The printing is not straight on the page. Rather it is skewed. Since I ordered it internationally sadly I don't have an option to exchange it.

This book has very poor build quality. The cover is already separated after two days on light use on a desk. For the cost of this book, I would expect better quality. Save your money or look for a previous revision. Very disappointed. More details below: After opening the book for the first time, there are noticeable surface cracking in the front and back cover. The first 100-ish pages were stuck together on arrival by some adhesive or contaminant that dripped on to the pages. Accidentally ripped one page trying to separate them. After getting through the first 40 pages I noticed the back side splitting. After flipping to the back cover, it had completely separated. Closer inspection reveals very little glue present on the back side binding, leaving only the paper to support be 1000+ page book.

Good price The product was in prefect condition.

A well compiled and authoritative text on the fundamentals of Engines and even the basis and reasoning behind how development progressed. Not intended for casual readers.
