Friday, Dec 31, 2021: I ordered this replacement jar for the one on my Oster Professional Series PST2 that fell and broke. The blurb on Amazon did not include this as a replacement for the PST2 Oster Professional Series jar, but for many other series' jars. Thankfully, I took a chance and ordered it. It DOES fit my PST2 Professional Series blender, AND it holds more. I couldn't be more pleased! The true test will come when I use it tomorrow morning.Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022: I used it yesterday and today, and it works BETTER than the original jar, with a wider bottom that makes it easier to clean and easier to get the last of my smoothie. The top is also wider, which makes getting to the bottom easier and I didn't get smoothie all over my hand when trying to get the last bit from the bottom.All in all, a wonderful surprise!

I had an Oster model that used a plastic jar and that jar broke (it's plastic). I ordered this one after researching that it should fit my current Oster model and it fits great - and is more durable and looks nicer.

I knocked my original glass blender jar off the counter and it shattered into a million pieces, so I needed an replacement. I researched replacement glass jars on Oster's website and spoke with one of their customer service people to figure out which one would work with my blender, since they had a ton of different ones on their site. Turns out, it was slightly cheaper to order it on Amazon, since ordering it directly from Oster was $10 plus about $8 of shipping (for a total of $18). So, I ordered this replacement from Amazon for a few bucks less.At first I was bummed that it wasn't the exact same shape as the original (which had flat sides) since I liked the look of the original, but after using this replacement, I'm actually liking it more than the original for a few reasons:-The rounded shape makes it MUCH easier to scrape the sides to get out what was blended (so easy now to get out the last bits of blended tomato or smoothie!)-I'm finding the rounded shape is actually a bit easier to clean with the sponge. Not sure if this is legitimate or I'm imagining that it's easier.-This replacement jar (which is 6 cups) is actually slightly bigger than the original (which was 5 cups). That little bit of extra makes makes such a big difference to me.-This replacement has a MUCH BETTER spout, so it's easy to pour without making a mess.Keep in mind, it DOESN'T come with anything at the base - no blade, rubber rings, or plastic base that screws into the blender. Make sure you keep those parts! It DOES come with a plastic lid and the clear plastic dome at the top.Overall, I think $16 is a little much for what it is, but it definitely beats paying $70 to rebuy the whole blender. I've been looking for a glass Oster jar forever to replace the one that broke but i could never find one under $15 in the thrift store (plus they always come with the blender, which i already have 2 of). I finally just gave in and ordered it. This jar will fit any Oster blender cause they're all universal like that but keep in mind, this doesn't come with a base (no blades, no plastic screw on, no rubber ring etc).I still kind of regret getting it because I wanted the oldschool square jar. I remember my mom having that one and i found it easier to measure and scrape clean (i also liked the fact that it was slightly smaller). They sell it on here but it's a couple $$$ more and I refuse to spend even that much more (i kind of hate Oster blenders but i somehow always end up using them). Of course i see now that there's already a jar that's currently even cheaper (and square!) here: Oster 4918 5-Cup Glass Jar with Lid and Filler Cap Blender Accessory. It's a 5 cup jar though. *note the prices fluctuate so it might not be cheaper anymore...
