This is a cool toy, but it's not die-cast. It's all very high-quality plastic. Which is not a bad thing. It feels really solid and a kid would have to try really hard to damage it. But it's plastic, not metal.

Big, sturdy combining robot toy that's lots of fun, robust enough to give to a child to play with. Could use a bit more detail and/or some accessories, but a very impressive robot toy nonetheless. Read the instructions - some of the transformation steps can be a bit tricky, especially the waist connection.
