28in Pie Cut Polymer Lazy Susan Set White

The instructions are difficult and actually 1 step is wrong. The templates really weren't helpful. But this replaced my broken shelves and appear to be sturdy.

Easy install

Purchased this to replace a broken lazy susan shelf in older cabinets. It is just the right size and seems pretty sturdy. I am happy to have found a replacement and at half the price of local retailers. My only complaint is that the template they sent to aid in installation is almost completely useless as it is not to scale with the actual parts! We installed it successfully, however the cabinet door sets back into the cabinet and is not flush as it should be. This system allows for some adjustment, but even with the adjustments the cabinet door is still recessed. I think our measurements for installation were a little off, so we'll have to start all over to correct it, but it works perfectly fine and isn't flimsy like some other lazy susan shelves can be.

This was to be replacing a previous one that broke. It took 2 of us to get it in the cabinet about 3 hours. It kept coming apart. The instructions show that the tray snaps into the pole very easy which is not the case at all. I had to cut the plastic away so I could get the stoppers to go into the tray then when I put it in the cabinet it all came apart. There just was not enough room in the cabinet to get the part locked back into place so I just had to assume it went back in and would turn. This is made for a corner cabinet you would think the manufacture would know there wasn't much room to work in there and that they would make it so the tray would lock to the pole not just sit on it.

We purchased this to replace the 'contractor grade' unit in our kitchen; the original's shelves just started cracking at 20+ years old. This new unit was a little finicky to install and get centered but it did go in and work. However we have had to substantially reduce the number of items we store on the shelves compared to the old one. They were physically sagging; tilting outwards enough that it was visible. Nothing broke but we had to turn it slowly or taller items would spill off the upper shelf due to the sag.So it is functional but now we need to redistribute items that used to fit in that cabinet. Better than not having one but not great.

Far more durable than the original one that came with our home. Installation was a bit tough but I'm not a contractor so I can't blame the product. I'm sure if I knew what I was doing it would of been seamless. It's a perfect fit for our pie shaped unit we replaced. All the parts came with it and instructions were actually helpful if not a bit too simplified. But if you just took notice of how the old unit fit, it shouldn't be a problem.

Alright. I want to meet the person who installed this unit in 15 minutes, which is the estimated time in the instructions. That aside, there's three things I wish I had done that would have cut my install time. 1) have a small pillow ready for your back if you need to lay inside to transfer upper template markings under the counter (I taped the template on to free both hands). 2) Keep set screws in the shaft facing away from the pie cut so that you can easily tighten/adjust them when the door is attached, and 3) I used a stir stick to raise the revolving door off the threshold when screwing the door to the bottom tray, leaving clearance to rotate without banging into the lip. You can make height adjustments at the pole, but it's best to be close before you start putting screws in. Good luck!

After 15yrs of ingoing w/out the lazy susan, it wasn't that hard to install; more importantly,the wife's happy.
